(whispers) Kyrie has a similar step back...you know, the one he hit in the Finals to win it all...but who remembers that?

... on the road, against a good team, with a great HCA.

    Maybe that’s right.

I listen also, and he is “entertaining” I guess. He runs a good podcast network. Maybe I’ve just missed that part he’s lacking.

Everyone on the board agrees that GG should have got at least 10 of JJ's 30 minutes tonight at 36 y/o. Agreed he needs to unleash GG tomorrow, regardless of the team we're playing or B2B situation. Sounds like JJ was promised some minutes here after all to reunite with MDA instead of another contender...

It's all good. Need these type of games to avoid complacency.

Probably saving him for heavy minutes tomorrow.

This is the worst game for Clint in a long time. He was very lazy tracking the ball and just didn't seem focused. Maybe it was the altitude.

Rockets 11-0 when shooting 50.0% FG.

    30-1 with Capaulden

Harden becomes 5th player in league history with b2b 40-point road games @ DEN (Barry, Isiah, Dantley, McGrady)

    12 game winning streak

Sat first row behind the Rockets bench. Not sure if any of ya saw me being obnoxious and wearing a black Harden shirt, but this was my favorite picture I captured.

I think what is more impressive is we are 5-4 when shooting below 30% on threes.

Not only do we have the 2nd fewest total games shooting that poorly (GSW has 8 to our 9), but along with WAS (9-8), we are the only two teams to have a winning record shooting that poorly...with highest winning %.

You ever tried running in Colorado? I wouldn't call it a lack of effort, it didn't seem that way at all to me. The Nuggets aren't covered by "Altitude Sports" for nothing. I was in great shape headed to play in Denver once. When I got off the plane I could barely take 2 steps without getting tired.

So I was in Section 104, Row 11 a bit above you. To be honest there were a lot rowdy Rockets fans in the stands tonight! The Nugget's fan next to be said it felt like we were in Houston!!

    Game comments
    - Capela: Before the game he was working with Lucas in 10-12 ft set shot. I know he was trying to get him comfortable at the different spot/angles around the court, but a set shot ain't gonna cut it. Small steps I guess. During the game Capela looked over matched when Joker exerted himself. We really miss Nene against the big bodies.
    - Harden: Nuggets fans were in awe of him. One guy said to his buddy, "Harden isn't really athletic and has no discernible advantage except he's relentless with the ball in his hands. He's an old school player, he knows how to use his body in ways know one can stop!" Harden was excellent tonight. Watching him close out on defense, it was apparent live that he was giving his all. Sometimes on TV I doesn't look like it. Dude is definitely a closer now.
    - Paul: Looked a little out of sync tonight, but still scored 23. When he was trapped at the end of the game, traveled and then tried to call timeout, I wanted to bust out laughing, but I maintained my composure since I was next to the enemy.
    - Gordon: Was doing some shooting before the game. He looked fine. Wondering if we're just giving him some rest to give Johnson some more minutes to get comfortable.
    - GG: Wish he would get some minutes (esp when Luc is cold), but dude is playing super cheerleader on the sideline.
    - Ryno: Looked good in his time on the court. Spin move to the basket and the charge he drew were both really good plays.
    - Wright: He was alright, need to give him a few games.
    - Joe J: Is a solid pro, loved seeing his post-up game featured for a few plays. I like how he moves the ball really quick--that I've noticed has inspired others to move it faster as well.

One would LIKE to blame it on new personnel and not yet knowing where
to expect your teammate to be.
But it was't even that. Much of it was just careless ball handling and stupid passes

That says a lot about how good this win really was.

Don’t ever insult CP3 by lumping him in the same zip code as the scrub named lin.

Don’t forget the altitude Denver is a tough place to play.
Tomorrow’s game on a back to back will be tough specially in Utah.

Let’s get this 2 next games and go perfect on February. :)

    He was awful this game.

Worst Iv seen him play all year tbh.

That’s an interesting take though. MDA has always said Clint has stamina issues. So it does make sense that he would really struggle in Denver.

I think your on to something with the altitude.
