Lmao Savage didn't look any better. Had Watson been given a shot with the 1s I'm sure he could've made something happen.

I just want to know why DQ and Mancz aren't playing over XSF and Allen. Our starting guards are trash, and XSF is not the pick we needed him to be.

Saints defense is looking very stout. Watson is not ready to be facing an ultra aggressive defense like this. The pressure is making him make bad decisions.

Savage threw 1 near pick, Watson has already thrown 2 that should have been a pick.

    OBrien's offense sucks.

Hard to judge the QBs in such a crappy system behind a horrible OL

Did Watson not play with basically the same OLine? Did Savage play with better receivers? Major thing that changed was that Watson played the Saints 2nd team.

Most of us want Watson to start, but he's looked not ready the last 2 weeks. Best cast for us is Savage playing well all season leading us to a 10-6 or better record and a win in the playoffs. We then could turn Savage into a 2 or 3 round pick and get back some of the assets we've traded away from next years draft.

This is like watching paint dry. Very boring game so far. Is the Saint's defense that good? Neither QB has looked special and the OL is having a very bad night.

O'brien gonna break Watson of his running habit before he starts, so he doesn't turn out like RG3

I seem to recall BoB was considered some kind of offensive guru at the time when he was hired, but the man has disappointed me greatly over the years. I know this is only preseason, but didn't a rookie QB in Cleveland put up several TDs in less than a half against these same Saints? The offense is just boring. No deception, no counter, no play action, few roll outs, everything is straight up timing routes, and our QB and WRs rarely seem to be on the same page. If the QB is pressured, you can pretty much assured an incompletion. Then when the balls gets there, the receivers, outside of Hopkins, can't always make the catch. Honestly, even our highlights are just yawners. BoB talks a good game, looks like he's in control, but the man can't fix an offense. Does that make him a schmuck?

O'Brien's offense is a chore to watch.

Texans would have to franchise tag him, then trade. I think thats what happened with Matt Cassel.

I mentioned this is another thread.

O'Brien was "acting" offensive coordinator for a year in new england. He didn't cut it and was not offered the job permanently.

    That's why he left

And Pats fans thought he sucked.

Somehow he's managed to make it worse every year he's been here, he has his work cut out finding ways to make it worse than it was last year, but I think he's up to the task.
