Every year I naturally hope all of our draft picks do well; obviously you never want us to draft any busts, but this may be the first year I genuinely feel that the entire draft class not only makes the final 53, but can truly contribute this year

I think KJ is a great fit paired next to Hal, and hope together they can solidify the back end for the next few years
Are you referring to the defense in the first half by our starters or in the 2nd half where Cards started "coming back" because we had our backups out there? If the first, then I am not sure we watched the same game. Clowney looked clearly winded, but outside of our rush D in the middle, I thought we did excellent. If the second, well then... not too sure what to say other than, when you bench all the good players, D usually doesn't do that well. Same goes for our O. The is preseason. The first quarter, maybe 2nd is to fine tune the starters and maybe throw them different looks and try different things. Think of it as a live simulation of practice in as close a competitive atmosphere as possible. Once the starters and 2nd unit is pulled however, it's usually all about seeing which rookie or bubble player can do what with extended minutes. It's really used just to evaluate what you have with what's left.

Both halves. Starters vs starters and backups vs backups. Arizona had some long drives where we couldn't stop them. They were 8-14 on 3rd down and had good chunks of run yardage. We did force a lot of takeaways, but that's a hard defensive stat to rely on.
That was very impressive! Os really only had one bad throw (a great catch by Strong). The two incompletions were both on-target drops.
Honestly, it looks like we intentionally were giving away the middle at times with how some of the schemes pre-snap were setup. Maybe, they saw something different and defended differently. Maybe they were testing some things out.

Assuming Osweiler is talking about one of his pass plays, was it the first long pass to Fuller at 6:22 in the 2nd Q, where Fido also got passed coverage, and two options underneath. Maybe Fido isn't as open as he looks, because the free safety might get him. http://video.nfl.com/films/vodzilla...OU_BROCK_OSWEILER-20160828_15530383_5000k.mp4
Scarlett is going to make the team you know we will carry 4 OLBs, and after Clowney/Merc/Simon, who on the team is better?
Yep. I agree. The guy didn't even play in the first preseason game if I remember. Thats two undrafted that will make the team, in my opinion.
Man, I really hope they didn't just sell be a bill of goods yesterday with the 1st team offense's performance. What I saw yesterday, against what is supposed to be a very good defense, is very encouraging. Brock looked fantastic and looks like he's getting the timing down with Nuke. If this is what we're going to get this season, it's going to be a fun 2016. IMO, the performance yesterday was that of a 12-4 or better team.
