you guys are digging too much into the murder mystery part... spoilers ahead (read at own risk) The new lawyer is selfish. She wants the PR and could care less about Naz or the case and she wants to end it asap by asking Naz to plead self defense against the murder. Consequently, the family goes back to the old lawyer. He comes to the rescue and links a serial killer who killed someone else that same night in the area and saves Naz in final episode. very cliche... good opener, rest of series is meh... the boxer wants Naz to smuggle items in exchange for protection. Naz will prob get beat up in the next episode.
you realize the script is from a british mini series that aired a few years ago... the first 3 episodes have almost been verbatim.. just diff names
The real killer is someone in his support group. Real guess: The new lawyer wants to drag out the case for publicity, but Naz won't survive Rykers without Stone's help. Recall, the security guard let Stone through the metal detector without taking his shoes off. He's going to sneak something into Ryker's for Naz to give Omar, so Omar will protect him without using Naz for his soft, silky veal meat fetish (for breakfast, lunch and dinner). Recall, Omar lost his regular hook up. And that's how he wins over Naz's mother vs the b**** lawyer.
I don't think this show is a Who Done It. To me it feels like a it's about the judicial/jail system in America. I like it so far. The parents for Nas subtle acting is top notch.

HOW HE GETS OUT OF THIS *IS* the story The Police are not even looking for anyone else The only pause is .. . 'He doesn't feel right' for the crime The Evidence. . . The Lying . . .The Running . . .. . . I'm shocked that a Pakistani Muslem Kid would get as much benefit of the doubt as he has gotten in this show. . . I think it's safe to say this was the 2nd best episode of the series so far. I like what I saw in the preview for the next episode...
Yeah, glad to find out IMDB was not up to date, as it did show more episodes for most all other main characters. Now I can use it to look up actors in current seasons without fear of those types of spoilers. I've made the mistake of looking up Casts for past seasons of shows I was binging...especially ones where ppl get Off'd a lot.
