Sources: Houston has started contacting teams about trading Dwight Howard

I don't think that guy has any credibility. Looks like a year ago he was doing minor league baseball broadcasting.

 

It's actually Teague for Howard for them. If they're trading Horford its because his people told them he was moving on in FA. I wish we got Teague out of this trade instead of Dragic but not sure how that could work.

It's not Teague for Dragic. Dragic would end up in Houston with Whiteside.

 

I think the way you can talk yourself into believing that this is a real deal on the table, is by realizing that something is getting left out. Rockets giving up a pick as well? Obviously there has to be more to it than just this. No way do you give up Dwight Howard and get both Dragic and Whiteside.

 

Terry - team chemistry is horrible! Do these guys even like playing with each other.

How is that great for Houston? Whiteside as a rental, and a max-contract 6th man potentially on the downside of his career? That's a **** deal.

The only way it kind of makes sense is if we value Whiteside and sign him up long term.

I think Howard, Jones would be dealt.

 

People in here are very high on Whiteside. Guy has a bad attitude. And on top of all that the Heat have a worse defensive efficiency when he's on the court! I don't see the love affair with the guy.

 

I would rather Teague than Dragic and I would rather Horford than Whiteside or Anderson.

If Atlanta wants Howard and is willing to send off both Teague and Horford for him (I'm suspicious that they would but nevertheless) why would we need to involve Miami in that deal?

This season has been a trainwreck. But a roster of Teague-Harden-Ariza-Horford-Capela would be pretty interesting to roll with

 

I expect Jones and Terry to be gone 100% and 50/50 on Dwight.

 

I truly wonder if any good PG would actually work playing next to a ball stopper like Harden?

Takes away the leverage of trading horford. Unless they already have linedup a trade for him. And howard horrible fit for atlanta. Bud will have to change completely his system.

Im sure Orlando will give up much more valuable assets than an expiring howard for teague.
