I think this year Les has shown he isn't that cheap of a SOB. The Spurs aren't really over paying their players. What they do have though is a very healthy basketball culture. None of the guys on their team could be considered a knuckle head. We're constantly looking for the low risk somewhat damaged good players and itbleads is tobthis chaos. Josh Smith had issues in Detroit, we picked him up. Ty lawson with his alcoholic problems picked up cheap. Corey Brewer with his inconsistent efforts picked up for cheap as well. We have two stars in Dwight and Harden. With proper discipline and focused players we can go really far.

Say what you want about him, but the man has an excellent eye for talent evaluation. Definitely a skill that Morey sorely lacks

We need to stop trying to compare us to the Spurs. Nobody is The freaking Spurs!!! They have won 50+ games 15 straight years.

Nobody does that, what makes some of you guys think it's even attainable.

Let's go the Miami heat rout of buying big talent. The rockets have the money now it's time to pull out the big cards and make the right moves and bring in a durant this offseason. I still think we have a legit chance at him. It the thunder don't win this year I don't know why he would think they can win it in the future.

We had winning seasons over multiple years, that could make us the lessest of the lesser Spurs.

    :p

Entire Rockets FO sucks. There's no connection with the fans like there is in GS..

They have a strong connection with there fans, their team holds great value to their city and makes you feel like you're apart of something

All I see is some old guy trying to shove Chinese crap down our throats cause he bout that $$$

You are comparing a HOF bball player with a ... ummm ... whom?

I am fine with MOF worshipping their hero, but please, let him prove something before you join the cult. Or is it too late?

he did acquire alot of talent, they just didn't all mesh together. the wrong mix of players. he also got steve francis and marbury on the same backcourt, which was like no passing point guards 1 and 2 in the league

Cannot Replicate. Spurs are zombies. Your grandkid's grandkids would start drawing their pensions before Tim Duncan does.
