    Sh** idea.

Just let it slide. The award was given months ago. The media already hates on our team. Why feed the beast?

Bad idea. They’ve been hyping up Harden’s MVP case non-stop for the last 6 months. So what was the point doing so again in the same tweet that they congratulated the MVP winner? In case people didn’t realize that they thought Harden deserved it?

Who’s going to read that and think, “Hmmm .. I thought Giannis should have won it before, but Rockets twitter just convinced me I’m wrong with those stats.”

I’m fine with it; gotta support your guy.

The narrative is that the Rockets are the villain...might as well lean into it.

bad idea...it just invites even more ridicule towards the team and Harden...let the fans do all the pettiness

the Rockets should’ve just congratulated Giannis and kept it moving or said nothing at all

    Corny.

It’s one thing for the fans to be this petty but the official organization’s twitter has to show more restraint and class.

Just makes them look like whiny babies even more.

Literally nobody will remember this by noon today. '

Who ****ing cares what NBA take-o-verse outrage of the day is?

The next day will come and a fresh outrage will appear, the take machine will generate glorious new noise. Repeat.

The NBA's official Twitter account posted the gif of Giannis throwing the ball off of Harden's head as their way of congratulating the MVP award. There's no need to worry about being classy when the league itself is a shitshow.

I'm fine with the whining. Nobody likes the Rockets anyway. Might as well post some truth in these numbers. Rockets already got tremendous flack for RefGate which pointed out the truth and all around bias. We are all in now.

It was a bad idea. Not because it's noteworthy at all that they sent that tweet. I doubt they are the first team do that. However, considering the crazy backlash this organization generates for everything they do...

Yep. Everyone on earth was happy the Rockets flamed out in 6 games against the Warriors. You had current and former players going in shamelessly on Twitter. This isn't above me.

Bad idea.... that being said, facts is facts.... just let the talking heads debate it (not the Rockets official Twitter)

    Horrible idea.

This franchise coddles James Harden like a barren woman coddles a fake baby doll.

All they do is protect him. How about stoke the fire that makes him better

The only solution for all of this is winning the title.

Remember how much of a joke the Raptors were last year? Getting beat so badly by Lebron year after year?

    Winning cures all.

Raptors white whale was Lebron - he moved to the west

Rockets white whale is the Warriros - they are injured..

    now we wait.

    Petiful and Classless

And they you wonder where all the media "hate" comes from. Rockets ask for it and media give it.
