If only we had some type of pass catching RB on the roster...

Maybe they ought to trade a conditional third round pick for one.

Reid could design a play for any poster in the hangout forum and get him wide open for a catch.

    HOUSTON TEXANS
Deshaun Watson didn’t have a strong outing against Jacksonville. While he did have multiple big-time throws, he was off target with several throws and took a number of unnecessary hits from the pocket.

Houston’s offensive line struggled in pass protection all game long. Rookie left guard Tytus Howard struggled in both the run game and as a pass-blocker, surrounding multiple pressures and tackles for little to no gain. Veteran defensive lineman Calais Campbell was a nightmare for the rookie Alabama State product.

No Clowney? No problem. JJ Watt and Whitney Mercilus were terrors on the edge, each notching a number of pressures on the quarterback. Mercilus’ strip-sack recovered by Watt led directly to Houston’s game-winning touchdown.

The Houston secondary did not have a great afternoon, as they struggled with the size and physicality of Jacksonville’s outside targets. Not only did they give up a number of pass plays downfield in the fourth quarter, but they also missed a significant number of tackles in space.

    Rookie Takeaways

As mentioned above, Howard really struggled in this one. He’s still a ways away from being a capable starter in the NFL.

Last week felt they played enough to win not lost. This week it felt like he played enough to lose but won.

The Jags DC called an incredible game with all the timely blitzes. Plus he had players who tackled well. Even when Hyde and Duke had holes, they closed quickly and they were stopped. Until the Texans show they can beat the blitz, expect other teams to get after the QB like the Jags did.

    Find another team.

You know.....changing coaches doesn't assure ****. Look how many team changes coaches=same result or WORSE. Dabo is a PIPE dream that is never happening. Riley is Jerry Jones' next coach, otherwise, he is staying in Norman. What you need to hope is the team keeps playing for THIS coach and he improves his play calling and decision-making. Grass is not always greener.

Yeah, I warned people the Jags are still a great defensive team.

They can blitz with confidence because they have a stud in the secondary who can shut down half of the field with whoever he's guarding.

KC made them look worse than they are and we found out that Minshew is a gutsy QB. Probably won't win them games but he's brave. People will feel down about this win and I don't blame them because BOB and the coach staff don't seem to be exactly prepared for these games but it was a solid win in the division.

How many more years does he get to improve his play calling, decision making and clock management?

It is to Cal McNair to determine that.

Yeah but this was a hurt Jags team. Bouye was out Ngakoue was out. Fuller, Stills and Coutee should have had better numbers. There were plays where Watson didn't even have enough time to grip the ball. Their DC called a game.

Many of you have SHORT memories. So many of you wanted Kubiak gone. Then, we he goes to Denver and wins a Super Bowl, "oh, see, the Texans should not have gotten rid of Kubiak. Many wanted Rick Smith gone. Now, y'all wish he was back. LOL. That's why franchise don't listen to fans. I'm not a fan of Bill O'Brien. However, I want him to succeed so the team wins. It is up to Cal McNair to decide when BoB goes.

Yet you don't look at how many change coaches and do better? Interesting criteria.

Just seems odd that you are such a supporter, but even in his sixth season you bring up that he still needs to improve his play calling and decision making. If that hasn't happened in six seasons, hard to imagine it ever will.
