For the most part, Uncle Les used to be behind the scenes and let the team do its stuff. He may have intervened behind closed doors but did not make too many public appearances

This Tilman Fertitta guy talks too much, wants to get involved in everything even stuff beyond his ability and seems like a big cheapskate and micro-manager.

And never forget, we won two titles under his ownership

Uncle les agreed to Chris Paul when he knew he didn’t have to pay for him. He would have never done so if he was in a hold position. Tilman has stumbled out of the gates, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt given his passion and pride in the city.

Nostalgia goggles, he was not some great owner who paid up and he got too involved. Plus taking the OG trophies when they belong to the team, he only signed off on Drexler for that 2nd run and never gave credit to the former owner nor the GM. Good riddance and let's wait and see what Tilman will do.

Tilman is off to a pretty bad start, and when he opens his mouth it’s usually a mistake, but he is passionate about the city of Houston and I do think that things will get better for him. Right now though, yes, I definitely miss Les Alexander!

lol Les bolted with both NBA championship trophies once he figured out how much he would have to pay CP3.

I do not miss Leslie. He will become Bud Adams. I love Leslie for making the Rockets a global icon. And going after refs in the playoffs. I rather trust a Houstonian, or a Galvestonian.

Oh please. Les NEVER paid tax. Les signed Anderson and CP3 to bad deals and then bolted with the trophies.

You mean Uncle Les who took away the champion colors and uniform just to sell beer in China?

BTW, he inherited the team that won back to back and never got to a WCF after he took over

    Yeah....um okay

I guess you are too young to remember 96/97 or 14/15 after the Clippers 3-1 comeback win the semi-finals to make the WCF

    Hell no
    Les was cheap
It’s this dumb news cycle world we live in that nobody remembers history

Hey why did Barkley keep mentioning the rockets owed him two million dollars ?

    Exactly
