Haha, the only one he didnt? His first ever START against the bengals in week 2 last year, where he ran in the 49 yard go ahead TD himself.
Damn, deandre carter had a clear view of the blitz and doesnt have enough awareness to chip him or at least slow him down. I understand that receivers have to finish their routes but damn, he had a route into the flat.
Good news; found the deshaun episode of detail+ on reddit. Here you go Part 1-https://streamable.com/hz5we Part 2-https://streamable.com/9tquj Part 3-https://streamable.com/1q1t5
I'm not saying I follow Jay Glazer a lot, or think he's some football analyst extraordinaire, but if anyone wants to try and convince you to get on the Bill O'brien bandwagon, I guess listen to the end of this. You just really really really wish the guy would get an OC, or assistant OC... it's just too much for him. Of course, I wish he'd open it up a little more when they have a lead, too, but after 9 wins in a row, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on that given the o-line isn't good AND perhaps as importantly, it's always good to have stuff in your back pocket come playoff time.
Great break down. Never realized all the little nuances involved until Manning pointed it out. He needs to get up into the booth already.
No kidding. Little stuff like keeping his off hand inside his torso when doing a handoff. That's fantastic stuff and something I never would have thought about or noticed as a casual fan. I'm hooked.
thanks for posting the manning files, zeeshan. The red seven wedding crashers reference had me rolling. Watson is a holy phenom but four things I would like Watson to improve for next season, How to properly slide, how to go to the fetal position ala peyton, checking down instead of the chunk play which he's doing more lately and his hard count needs work.
If he does then it’ll prove that he watched this. Now I’m sure he had 20 minutes to spare in order to watch a hall of fame qb dissect his game but it’d be nice to know anyway. That being said I would be unimpressed if anything that Peyton said in this episode wasn’t already observed by the coaching staff in their typical film room meetings.
Brace yourself to be unimpressed then, cause small nuances like that should be drilled into him already and sadly they are not.
