Well I was watching Pardon The Interruption yesterday or two days ago and Wilbon expressed the opinion that the Cubs would only score one run and probably lose. (Can't remember if it was for the tie-breaker or the WC)

People who follow the Cubs closely saw those two results coming.

While baseball is inherently more random than other sports trends do indicate what is likely to happen.

I think you are wrong. Maldonado is catching JV and Cole I’d be willing to bet. That’s how it’s been all September even with MCCann back.

Are the AL games seriously on TBS this year? Worst ****ing network in America and their Roku channel sucks ass.

I don't know what the **** stats you're looking at, and I really don't care, but JV/Cole/Keuchel/Morton with LMJ in the pen is absolutely a tossup with Kluber/Carrasco/Clevenger/Bieber and Bauer in the pen. If that's how it actually plays out.

Tensions are already high in this thread and game 1 hasn't even started yet. I think fans are just nervous and I do include myself in this bracket. It's so hard to repeat when it comes to baseball.

I’ll be there Friday! I went to every home post-season game last year except WS games 4 & 5... so were gold.

Watching this Yanks A’s game and I am trying to figure out how the A’s won 90 plus games this year. Lack of talent finally caught up

definitely. the lack of actual pitching and experience was going to show. especially against NY and being on the road. that pressure is real

Rodney was not a good grab, at all. Was not impressed with his work with the Twins (he blew a save against us, also looked shaky in nearly every game I watched, including games where he did hang on for the save), and he has not been good with Oakland either. He also gave up a run in the game where Herrmann walked it off to clinch the division for us (Treinen also had a rare blown save). If I was an A's fan I'd be pissed at Melvin for leaving Mengden off the roster. Honestly I was shocked when I first saw he was left off.

Bullshit Rodney would have shut that **** down. Too bad that Bob Saget lookalike had no faith in his man.

MLB fangraphs now has Dodgers at 22.5%, Cleveland at 19.5%, and Houston at 19.3% odds at winning the World Series.

That’s probably because the Dodgers only have to beat one AL team to do it
