I just replied with a tweet - no where does it say Black will be the one waived. I am also not insisting that it is going to be Black. Just showing how quickly things change.
Gotcha, fair enough and good point. Pretty sure the guy/girl is just an angry toll that is furious right now because Harden's playing well and the Rockets are winning games. Can't attack Harden so has shifted focus to you.
He's not available it seems. Both buy-out guys will most likely be on the active roster after the break, I'm assuming, so that they can learn our system.
He looked great, will probably contribute more for his position than JJ.... Houston really needed this type of player, only team that can bully us down low is NO when boogie comes back as a walker... We now have an extremely overwhelming team with good players at every position, there is just flat out no break when playing Houston.... Cant drive in on Capela and Wright, cant post up on Nene.... Cant Iso on Ariza, Prince, Tucker, Paul.... Cant shoot over any of them either. Cant be sloppy with the ball and must keep offensive tempo full throttle or else Houston runs away with the game. Houston is just flat out overwhelming teams into submission. At no times are The Rockets weak in any position. Even tonight Houston still couldn't play Green and Gordon was out.... Wright just simply creates another headache for teams and I love it..... On to destroy the Jazzholes....
Not bad for his first game in about 3 weeks, especially considering it was high altitude. Wish we could've seen a lob dunk but Denver defended that well the whole game.
I thought he looked great. Can't wait to see him play more for us and we'll have a chance at least every remaining back-to-back. We are so freaking deep at every position! Black's obviously a goner if not from the team from the rotation. Capela/Nene/Wright, with Anderson also effective at 5 in one of our deadliest lineups, is such a luxury. So is Joe Johnson. So is Gerald Green. So is Anderson off the bench. Loved that the announcers tonight said coach likes the Ariza/Tucker pairing and also likes the Luc/Anderson pairing. That made a lot of sense to me and I hadn't expected to see a change in our starting lineup but I think we look better now. And what it's done to our bench! Our bench right now is: Gordon Anderson Mbah a Moute Johnson Green Nene Wright So much offense and so much defense. And with one or another HOF PG on the floor, Harden or Paul, at all times. I am in awe. Does anyone have a bench this deep and/or this talented?
Has a lot of injury issues, not sure how much "more" i want of him, filling in when necessary to replace black is a step up though.
@Batman Jones if you're curious like I was, we play 5 more pairs of back to back games. Our last game of the season is back to back. Odd.
I'm happy he got a chance to show that he can contribute to the team. Hopefully he will get better, with more practice.
