T-Mac was looking like an all-time great after dropping 32, 6, and 5 with a 30 PER as a 23 yo old, but unfortunately, that was as good as it got for him T-Mac was more talented, but the answer is Harden
Each player has dropped down just a few spots, not many though. I would assume no team has ever had 3 players (or anywhere close to it) in the top 120 of this metric on one team in the same year. If Morey somehow were to get Lebron next year, and Capela continues to improve aspects of his game. You could potentially have 4 players in the top 75 or so of win shares/48 on the same team. How many wins does that equate to in a season??
The only thing tmac was better at was chucking. Tmac was a slightly better Gerald green who was given the green light to chuck for his career.
ill take harden over lebron easily and i still dont understand where all this lebron hype come froms tbh. id take durant over lebron on my team... thats besides the point though, think about the number of guys who can score and pass like harden, very very few have ever done it. (averaging points and assists at harden's level, 30ppg/10apg) and playing along side cp3 only bumps his assists down from 11 per game to like 9 per game and he's still over 30 ppg playing along side an all time great point guard in cp3. his point/assist totals over the last couple years have been unbelievable man, thats all im saying, and he's a true team player too, which you can only say about very few players that have ever played at his level
its mostly because hes played in the joke of the east and always had a couple superstars alongside him for help while harden had no help had to carry his team on O and rest on D and was always gassed in the key moments because of that(as noted by marK Jackson last night
Right about now is where I'd post the gif of Larry David's "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good" IF I KNEW HOW TO POST GIFS
Though the end of that game was exciting, People forget that McGrady stunk up the joint until that point which is why those heroics were necessary. McGrady's true shooting percentage as a rocket was less than 50 percent. McGrady was the poster child for chucker. Did you know that Joe Johnson(lowest of any player getting minutes) has a higher true shooting percentage as rocket than McGrady?
lolwut? I despise T-Mac as much as any Rockets fan, but even then this statement makes me laugh at its sheer stupidity. Even without talking about actual basketball skill, T-Mac was by far the superior intellect. It's like comparing a pig to a slug basically. The things that held T-Mac back were personality and durability.
