Ha - THAT'S the Worrell-ism that gets under my skin.

 

I still/will always like Bill Worrell. If you listen to the commentary of one person long enough, they all make mistakes.

 

Craig's high pitched screams have effectively caused 35% hearing loss in both my ears.

You know how much Bill has to remember? He knows the littlest details about almost all the players in the league, he knows details about thousands of players that he's watched since he's started broadcasting, since he started watching sports as a kid in 50's and 60's! It's human nature to forget things now and then, why it irks people so much is kind of pathetic.

i don't mind craig. also don't mind bull most of the time. clyde is one of my fav players all-time (even before he came to HOU) but he's absolutely terrible as a broadcaster. used to love bill, but i think his time has passed. the mistakes are there every game and it's not a good look for us. if we could bring back geno and let him do the tv broadcast with either murph or van chancellor, i'd be very happy.

 

Worrell has been fine this season, I've noticed less awkward moments and more chemistry between the whole crew. The Jazz game in particular was great. Craig is okay, but he needs to realize he's not on the radio anymore and it's okay to be excited but stop screaming. That high pitch is indeed annoying. Glad we still have Worrell and hope we can send him off into the sunset after a few more years with a championship. That would be well deserved

 

I can live with it, what I am having a hard time living with is Bullards every damn game reminder regarding anything to do with a three ball. We ****ing get it Bull, he needs to take the three.

 

I like craig too but worrell is a legend.

I dont want to use this thread to bash craig though.

He is still trying to make it so perhaps he forces it a little sometimes but he seems like a chill dude to me.

 

I agree. Bull is a condescending commentator that always talks to the audience like we are 4 years old and have never seen a game before.

It is cringeworthy when he tries to explain the charge/block rule every single time it comes up.
