Anyone feel like helping me pick 3 players to play?? Sammy Watkins CJ Anderson M Crabtree Corey Coleman Corey Davis (playing against Marriota this week) Terrell Pryor TY Hilton
CJA, Crabtree... then it gets tough. Pryor has a touch matchup against Rams and Trumaine Johnson (a tall CB). Davis has a really tough matchup and goes against Bouye and Ramsay. Coleman has a tough matchup against Jimmy Smith and the Ravens. And Hilton gets hurt by questionable QB play plus plays against Peterson to boot. And Watkins goes against Josh Norman. Guess its a dart throw.
Thanks for your input. I actually went ahead and accepted it. I have Derrick Henry as well so I can plug him in if Demarco gets hurt.
Tom Brady has thrown three or more touchdown passes in each of the past five games in which he failed to throw a touchdown the week prior. Thanks Moes... these are among my favorite tools (I also like the CBS trade value tool and articles that show WR/CB matchups). I am in need of some luck again this week, as the latest news about OBJ is bad and this week I don't have another MNF player to slide in if needed. So I am already expecting him to sit and deciding between Jeffery or Kelvin Benjamin as my WR2. Hopefully my RBs carry me (and going with Terrance West as my flex). Also hoping Home Ben lights 'em up and Feener has another good game in Snead's absence. My opponent is pretty loaded (Jameis, Lev Bell, Fournette, Tyreek Hill, Martavus Bryant, Babytron, Efert, Tucker and SEA), so I will need some luck.
Pick 2 WR (non PPR): Watkins v Was Decker@ Jax Golladay @ NYG Hilton v Ari M. Bryant v Min I'm thinking maybe Watkins and Hilton? Def: Min @ Pit Pit V Min Car v Buf Oak v NYJ NYG v Det LAR v Was
So, I stuck with AJ green again this week and while I'm not concerned im starting to get curious on his input this year. Their offense looks like crap and dalton seems lost. Their oline is as bad as the Texans. Wonder if I should start treating him more as a flex option going forward? Am I overthinking this @moestavern19 since they faced 2 pretty good defenses weeks 1 & 2?
Dalton historically has been bad against Baltimore and in night games. The Texans have always been pretty elite against opposing passing games over the past few seasons. While this could turn into a down year for that offense, I don't really think its time to panic about AJ Green just yet. Much like Hopkins, even in a limited offense he should still see targets. Andy Dalton is the definition of a mediocre QB. Useless against elite defenses, tough to start in divisional matchups, but other than that he will have good days.
I dont really love either matchup, but I'm inclined to lean toward Cousins as that game has a slightly higher total.
Wade Phillips defense....I wouldn't. Stafford seems like a good play even though his play drops outside of the dome.
Plus the change in offensive coordinator may speed up the offense. Should get Nixon more involved, which should hopefully create more openings for Green and Ross.
