"In 2016, Kaepernick restructured the deal the 49ers gave him when they were convinced he was the franchise quarterback. He gave up $14.5 million in injury guarantees for the ability to opt out of his deal at the end of the year."
Just like that huh. The 4 years of college mediocrity and 4 years of nothing as a Texan don't factor in at all. Fact is he lost something he's never demonstrated he should have ever had.
If he would take the vet min then they should sign him. I'd rather see him running for his life back there than Savage or Watson.
Lolz. I figured you'd still be sticking to that same tired line while we see backups like Savage, Kellen Moore, etc. on NFL rosters. But sure, Kaep is not an NFL quality QB and it's purely because of Football. Sure thing bud. Same tired stuff. http://presnapreads.com/2017/07/30/colin-kaepernick-is-better-than-joe-flacco/
Clearly. The bigger problem is that O'Brien is allegedly a QB whisperer but he is not only completely awful at evaluating his QBs, he can't coach them up either.
LOL, ok, so now we're gonna put that awful team all on him and give the credit to everyone else for the Super Bowl appearance? I live in the Bay Area, breh, so the 49ers are local to me. I don't think Tom Brady could've squeezed out more than 3 wins out of that dumpster fire.
What would a chubby virgin snowflake know about football? List below is current NFL QB's (copy-paste from ESPN). Nobody can say that Kaep is not EASILY better than half the garbage on the list. And an argument can be made for 3/4 of the list. Allen, Brandon Los Angeles Rams Anderson, Derek Carolina Panthers Beathard, C.J. San Francisco 49ers Bortles, Blake Jacksonville Jaguars Bradford, Sam Minnesota Vikings Brady, Tom New England Patriots Bray, Tyler Kansas City Chiefs Brees, Drew New Orleans Saints Bridgewater, Teddy Minnesota Vikings Brissett, Jacoby Indianapolis Colts Carr, Derek Oakland Raiders Cassel, Matt Tennessee Titans Clemens, Kellen Los Angeles Chargers Cook, Connor Oakland Raiders Cousins, Kirk Washington Redskins Cutler, Jay Miami Dolphins Dalton, Andy Cincinnati Bengals Daniel, Chase New Orleans Saints Davis, Austin Seattle Seahawks Dobbs, Joshua Pittsburgh Steelers Driskel, Jeff Cincinnati Bengals Fitzpatrick, Ryan Tampa Bay Buccaneers Flacco, Joe Baltimore Ravens Foles, Nick Philadelphia Eagles Gabbert, Blaine Arizona Cardinals Garoppolo, Jimmy New England Patriots Glennon, Mike Chicago Bears Goff, Jared Los Angeles Rams Griffin, Ryan Tampa Bay Buccaneers Hackenberg, Christian New York Jets Henne, Chad Jacksonville Jaguars Hill, Taysom New Orleans Saints Hogan, Kevin Cleveland Browns Hoyer, Brian San Francisco 49ers Hundley, Brett Green Bay Packers Jones, Cardale Los Angeles Chargers Jones, Landry Pittsburgh Steelers Kaaya, Brad Carolina Panthers Keenum, Case Minnesota Vikings Kessler, Cody Cleveland Browns Kizer, DeShone Cleveland Browns Luck, Andrew Indianapolis Colts Lynch, Paxton Denver Broncos Mahomes II, Patrick Kansas City Chiefs Mallett, Ryan Baltimore Ravens Manning, Eli New York Giants Mannion, Sean Los Angeles Rams Manuel, EJ Oakland Raiders Mariota, Marcus Tennessee Titans McCarron, AJ Cincinnati Bengals McCown, Josh New York Jets McCoy, Colt Washington Redskins Moore, Kellen Dallas Cowboys Moore, Matt Miami Dolphins Newton, Cam Carolina Panthers Osweiler, Brock Denver Broncos Palmer, Carson Arizona Cardinals Peterman, Nathan Buffalo Bills Petty, Bryce New York Jets Prescott, Dak Dallas Cowboys Rivers, Philip Los Angeles Chargers Rodgers, Aaron Green Bay Packers Roethlisberger, Ben Pittsburgh Steelers Rudock, Jake Detroit Lions Rush, Cooper Dallas Cowboys Ryan, Matt Atlanta Falcons Sanchez, Mark Chicago Bears Savage, Tom Houston Texans Schaub, Matt Atlanta Falcons Siemian, Trevor Denver Broncos Smith, Alex Kansas City Chiefs Smith, Geno New York Giants Stafford, Matthew Detroit Lions Stanton, Drew Arizona Cardinals Tannehill, Ryan Miami Dolphins Tanney, Alex Tennessee Titans Taylor, Tyrod Buffalo Bills Tolzien, Scott Indianapolis Colts Trubisky, Mitchell Chicago Bears Watson, Deshaun Houston Texans Webb, Davis New York Giants Webb, Joe Buffalo Bills Wentz, Carson Philadelphia Eagles Wilson, Russell Seattle Seahawks Winston, Jameis Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Take a look at the list above and tell me Kaep isn't EASILY better than AT LEAST half of those 'QBs'.
Wait, so, you are saying Joe Flacco is elite too? Oh boy, football knowledge runs deep in your genes.....
There's no team that would take Kap over Savage....so your own argument shows that you probably shouldn't be talking about football, like at all.
Well the reasoning behind the fact that no one would take Kap over Savage may be different but i agree with that fact.
It is not bad enough that we are Texan's fans, but we have to keep hearing about Krapernick. Is there no mercy?
From simply a football standpoint, no team would take Kap over Savage. One can accurately throw a football, and the other is a glorified wildcat QB. The ONLY reason we keep hearing about Kap is due to his politics, some people like them and that makes him a hero to them. If everyone's opinion was 100% based on football only then he'd already be forgotten.
Settle down and ponder the stats below, 'thoughtful bob' bwahahahahahaha. Oh yeah, I didn't even include any rushing stats, tubby.
