Our window is perhaps 3 years. Tucker will be fine for that time period. After that, we will be in rebuilding mode, so who cares about that 4th year anyway?

I really like this signing. One would think our defense would take even more of a hit when you include Bev in a deal, but now you have the opportunity to run out a line up of

    PG - Paul
    SG - Harden
    SF - Tucker
    PF - Ariza
    C - Capela

Not only is that lineup capable of pointing up good offensive numbers, but that is a very...
    strong defensive line up.

I think it's a good pickup. Needed defensive pressure for the second squad to be a team that doesnt lose big leads which makes your starters have to go back either early or in at all. People are tripping over this not being a good deal.

Exactly go for Melo or rebuild realistically. Without him we are a 2nd round bounce

It's very interesting when someone gets this adament about a player.

I'm going to miss Bev but love this signing!

Not saying Tucker is better by any means, but honestly I would rather have Tucker at 4 years (last year not fully guaranteed) and 32M than Iggy at 3 years and 48M

Damn averaging 27/8/9 in the finals is just "meh".

Kyrie sure did outplayed Curry. Put up 29/4/4. Everything is all about scoring right?

Cause I'm in win now mode unlike the rest of this board. Y'all are okay with roll players and being 4-5 seed

I know what offensive power he can bring while harden sits and I know the possibilities of FA when you have a core of CP3/Harden/Melo

He is right though, we gutted half our team, rightfully so for a 32 yr old Paul but you got to follow through on that.

    Limited contending window is limited.

I remember so many people screaming for Tucker and now that we get him so many skeptical?! This is a great deal for a great player! Thank you Morey! Pay Shump 10 or Tucker 8, pretty easy which one is the better deal and player :)

    26.8 PPG on 44 FG% and 39 3PT%? That's pretty bad by Curry's standard.

Kyrie put up 29.4 PPG on 47 FG% and 42 3PT%. Not everything is about scoring, but that's a pretty significant difference right there. Keep in mind that Curry is going against a much weaker defense compared to Kyrie.

Also, Kyrie doesn't have to handle the ball as much as Steph because he has LeBron on his team. Hence, his assist numbers are artificially suppressed.

I agree to an extent. There are only so many options on the table for Morey though. Perhaps Morey is dead set on keeping Capela and Gordon for anything those two guys would realistically return. And there are many options left.

If Milsap or Melo come to the Rockets and those guys both stay I would be ecstatic.

As Windhorst tweeted this was Chris Paul effect by recruiting his buddy to the Rockets. Amazing how much more attractive of a destination we have become when you have two superstars

Ain't no offensive stud, coming through that door, without moving Anderson, unless Melo is ready for a buyout.

We might be an attractive destination. We just don't have the money because of Anderson's contract which appears nobody wants to touch.

I know plenty ClutchFanners who describe DMo as an offensive stud. He's available.

Curry's true shooting was .619, i.e. slightly higher than regular season Harden, Kyrie's .558, i.e. slightly higher than regular season Westbrook
