Have to imagine that shooting will be unsustainable. I'd be shocked if Cleveland doesn't make it a game in the 2nd half.
i guess you might as well win by 1 and lose by 25. indiana can't miss a 3 (those last 2 were just forced heat checks and they still went in), myles turner is the descendant of dikembe mutombo at the rim, and i haven't seen the refs try this hard to help a team down in a series since i watched the thunder/rockets game 24 hours ago (8-1 on fouls to end the quarter, including lebron getting an offensive foul for i guess being grabbed by george). last year's cleveland? maybe. this year's cleveland? a) they would have to play some defense and b) they would have to not be as lethargic as they've looked for a good 3 months now. everything they do just looks so slow and disjointed. they don't get into anything and never whip the ball around. they score on just pure 3 point shooting ability (not because they get that many open looks) and having lebron and irving go 1-on-1 but it never looks crisp like it did in years past.
Was just about to post this. I'm kinda amazed by this Lance Stephenson revival. This dude was sitting on his couch a few weeks ago. I guess he can't play for any team other than Indi.
how did LeBron turn into such a terrible free throw shooter this year? can't even hit 70%, shooting sub 60 in the playoffs. ridiculously bad
i can't believe how bad lebron is free throw-ively. practice a damn free throw. between that and smith getting a wide open 3, cleveland blowing some golden opportunities.
two things you absolutely never see. lebron james make a heat check 3 after making the previous 3 and lebron go 2-for-1. in 14 years he's never figured out the 2-for-1. but he did it there. how many seconds was seraphin in the lane there?
