Not really, every new game is proving my point and showing how people like Knock are grasping at straws. This deal looks worse each day.
Some more games have passed since your last comment, still acting like there is no significant issue and that my post was “spreading irrationality“?
Terrible take. He may be inconsistent, but a guy that go can score 31 points shooting 11-15 shooting or whatever it was can win you a playoff game, which could be the difference in the series. One late first round pick and dumping Brewer's contract was well worth two years of Lou sixth-manning for us.
When Harden is dinged everybody looks bad. Because.......We have no other facilitators to feed these guys. Lou is our second best handle. But let's be real here. Lou is not a distributor. Lou (and Gordon and Beverley and everybody) is at his best scoring the ball after a true shot creator has scrambled the defense. Harden played 36 minutes last night and took 30 shots. Portland knew he was dinged. They took away the three point line and let a dinged Harden try to beat them. And as per usual when Harden sat we looked our typical chaotic pointless selves with no leader, no playmaker, no shot creator, no distributor on the floor. Lou is who he is. A scorer.
I mean, yeah. Lou could score 0 ppg for the rest of the season and still have a greater impact than Corey did this season.
Right now Lou is inconsistent but you can see in flashes how god he can be. He can playmake and has a nice fade away midrange game. The problem is he is either on or he is off. I would love to see him attack the basket more and draw some fouls as well. Mix things up if you're jumper is off. He has a variety of offensive skills.
He's pretty much our JR smith he needs to keep shooting. Some nights you'll love him other nights he'll pull your hair out
Lou is not good at creating shots for others nor passing the basketball. That's the reason why he has been a bench player his entire career. He's a small shooting guard with very low distribution ability.
Lou single handledly put us back into the game in the 4th. We lost because we kept chucking 3s even tho it wasn't going in for us. If we moved the ball alittle bit more rather than iso harden or ISO lou we would have had a different outcome
Yup, but the main point of me and most people here isn't comparing Louis to Brewer. Williams looks like a questionable addition right now and has struggled really bad, no point for people to just point out random stats and act like everything is fine.
There's nothing wrong with Lou. A guy that can come off the bench and score 30pts is a luxury to have. IMO the problem is that Lou/Gordon even though they are great scorers, they don't really create for one another. So when Harden is out, we're essentially playing ISO ball with either Gordon/Lou.
