No lol... But coaches as GMs are typically bad and short sighted. Its why I asked if anyone thought he was available.
Ariza + Harrell + first round pick for Eric Bledsoe. Defense and playmaking. Great guard rotation. Phoenix might bite on that. If not, maybe add another player.
Then trade Beverley or Brewer, KJ, second rounder or rights to Llull to the Sixers for Noel. With Noel and Capela, you've shored up the front line. You hope one of them becomes dominant.
Greg on roe would help rebounding and scoring down low, he is pretty much equal to Kanter. no defense but can rebound..
Houston out: Ariza/Bev Houston in: jrue/shabazz/minny1st Minnesota out: rubio/shabazz/1st(lotto protection) Minnesota in: ariza/bev NOP out: jrue NOP in: Rubio Thoughts?
Houston out: D-Mo and Ennis or a #2. Houston in: Cameron Payne and Mitch McGary's salary Obviously, we need fire power off the bench, so Payne will help immediately when he's healthy. D-Mo is not going to sign here and OKC needs a PF and I think he will take 2yrs. $16M - $17M, Ennis can be cut. Also, Oladipo's contract is up this yr and Adams just got paid, they only have so much money to spread around being a small market team. Also, they have Ronnie Price and Morrow as backups
How could we get Avery Bradley? I think he could be a perfect fit with Harden and still has a couple of years left on his contract. Thoughts?
Philly is asking Toronto for Corey Joseph and a first rounder for Noel. Ennis and a future first seems equivalent
How much of an upgrade does anyone feel Noel would be over Capela. Hawks game looked poor on interior defense, and rebounding needed some help down low. I think Noel is an improvement, but don't know how much of an improvement. He is very available, and can finish alley oops just as good if not better, and maybe he could catch a low pass.
Houston OUT: Corey Brewer Houston IN: A used condom and an expired bag of half eaten dorritos Who says NO?
I just think you are over valuing Brewer here. We tend to do this wwith our home players at best he is worth a used condom alone. Wewould have to send out a pick too to get the dorritos as well.
I'm not sure there is too much difference between them TBH. Rumours are Brook Lopez is available from Brooklyn. Noticed he's added a 3pt shot to his game and is shooting at around 30% this season. He's only 28 and seems way more physical than Capella.
I know But we have problems in the middle which Capella's partly to blame. He's too young to start IMO and needs proper support rather than Nene. I'm not suggesting trading Capella, but rather bringing in someone like Lopez to assist. Re the talk on Noel's, to me he has a similar game to Capella, so I don't see the reason to bring him in. We need muscle in the middle.
Corrections Officer: One Timex digital watch, broken. One unused prophylactic. [looks disgusted, picks something up with his pen] One...soiled. - The Blues Brothers The Doritos is a bit much. I might still dive to the bottom of the bag for the Doritos crumbles (although the half used condom might make me think twice about what fingers have been in the bag). Maybe Lays unruffled potato chips? I still think the end game here, however impossible it may seem, is Boogie Cousins, but....(shrug)
I would do that trade quick, people forget in the 2013 draft that some had Noel going #1 overall but he dropped due to ACL injury. I think he has a much higher upside than Capela. Plus, if we get Noel for this cheap than we can trade Capela for some SF help...
