Realistically, what could our tripple R-rated roster look like next season? Kirk Hinrich Harden Ariza Ryan Anderson Clint Capela Beverley Kent Bazemore Beasley D-Mo Ian Mahinmi Pablo Prigioni Brewer Dekker Harrell 2nd round pick
That's a pretty solid roster, but Hinrich? Come on man, I'd rather bring in some point guard from Europe. Maybe Nando De Colo.
Not saying I want this necessarily, but I think we will just bring in a veteran with some miles left as a PG, a spread 4, a back-up center, a back-up wing and a veteran PG like Terry. Somehow I can see us keeping a lot more players around then I and I think most would like.
Bazemore isnt a backup wing He will get more than 13 million per. Same with Fournier. None of them are backups. Also Mahinmi was so good this season souch improved he will also get paid and I dont see Indy not trying to resign him.
if brewer stays on this team, it's likely Morey will give the coach a green light to start him. So he better be gone in the summer.
We have money to throw at those guys since I don't see any of the Durant, Conley, Horford group coming. Bazemore starting over Ariza, it's all possible.
Should've mentioned in the OP that I think we could expect something like this just based on FA signings..trades are not taken into account.
Here's my roster for next season: Harden New player 1 New player 2 New player 3 New player 4 Bench: New player 5...
Bazemore only works in a system that involves a lot of ball movement and excellent floor spacing. Anywhere else he'd be pretty dull. He's not worth that much and I hope GMs realize that after what happened to DC in Toronto. Both DC and KB are more suited for bench mob. They both should be getting paid Jae Crowder money. Even with the cap increase. Alas, Bazemore will likely obtain 10m+... what a shame to whichever team hands out that much to him.
I'm not really sure who but I'll guess. PG Beverley SG James Harden SF Michael Kidd Gilchrist PF Beasley C Capela
We're not getting any decent free agents unless we badly overpay. They need to bite the bullet and just rack up ping pong balls next season. If Harden doesn't have the desire to play through a rebuild(and I wouldn't blame him), then you look to see what you can get for him. The organization's reputation is too badly damaged right now and the roster is filled with too many holes to lure any big name players here. When Dwight signed 3 years ago, he was seen as the final piece of the puzzle. Right now, we hardly even have any pieces outside of Harden.
