Yet, when Hinch does the exact same things and the players fail to perform, then there are posters on this forum calling for him to be fired and saying he is an awful manager. Same thing with Luhnow, he should have gotten a closer at the deadline because Gregerson is just a setup type guy. The Gomez/Fiers acquisition was a failure Harris is regressing to his mean. Marisnick should be playing over Rasmus.
Really, really thrilled we won this game. Coming into the last week of the season, I just wanted to get a chance to play a full series, and now we have that chance. This ride is far from over. Astros beat the Royals in 5.
Imagine the pressure the Royals will feel in Game 2 if McHugh pitches the Astros to a Game 1 victory. They'd go into Game 2 down 0-1 and facing a guy in Game 3 who is 15-0 at home on full rest! Please please please win Game 1.
Good idea - just repped everyone on this page. McHugh can do it, and all of the Astros are playing with nothing to lose. It's going to be a really exciting series.

I come on here to congratulate the Astros- and people are complaining about the Astros celebrating. The Astros. The team that set records a few years ago for losing. The team that beat the most storied franchise in baseball. In their own stadium. With a 1-game all-or nothing. Tell you what- for the complainers about the celebration, I'll send you one of these: First, insert it in your vagina to suck out the massive quantity of sand up there, and then turn around and suck out whatever enormous object is lodged in your anal cavity. Thank you. Just kidding- but seriously, celebrating today is not going to make any difference on Thursday. If they play better than the Royals, they'll win. Period.
