Just watched the sneak preview of Zombieland last night, and while I don't want to spoil any of it for anyone, let me just say WHAT A FREAKING FUN TIME AT A MOVIE! Now maybe it was just the fact of seeing it in a sold-out sneak-preview-audience theater, but people were cheering and clapping the whole way through, and having a blast. One of the more hilariously funny movies I have seen in a long time. I cannot wait to see it again. And I predict this movie is going to be wildly popular, and some new catchphrases will be entering the cultural lexicon - you will be hearing a lot of people saying 'Cardio!' and 'Double-Tap!' from here on out.. and I will say no more. Highly recommended! Go see it!
I watched it last night too. Great, great movie. One of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.
She was cute, Lisa P was hot, and Eisenberg was perfectly awkward and lovably self-aware like the obligatory Michael Cera character, but Martin Starr really made the movie. "Look at that ass, its like a Platonic Ideal... its a higher truth" "I'm not really an atheist though, more like a pragmatic nihilist or an existential pagan"
I'm not spilling anything else. Where did you watch it at? I was at the Studio Movie Grill in Copperfield.
Hey that's were I was too, I sat right next to the Media Reviewer people.. talked to some lady whose husband started SalsaTV, whatever that is. She says they are having a sneak there tonight of Pandorum too..
Well I'm still skeptical as, imo, the previews for the movie looked like ****. I'll be scanning the reviews though, as I love zombie movies. But usually I can tell from previews whether or not I'm apt to like a movie.
I went to see the preview at Studio Movie Grill last week, and even though I got there an hour early, they were out of seats. Apparently, they gave away wristbands starting at 4pm. Would have been nice to know, considering it was a 30 minute round trip drive and my gf and I got in an argument trying to find the place (she got mad at me for using the Google Maps directions, which turned out to be wrong...wtf?)
better than (500) Days of Summer? when I saw the trailer for this during GI Joe, I was pretty eager to watch it, just looks like an all out fun looking movie, and having Emma Stone in it helps also
