I wonder what kind of offers Zo would be getting if he does get bought out. I know Zo has talked about playing for contenders, so that kind of puts us out, but I'm sure Zo wouldn't mind playing with Yao.

However, if I was Zo, I'd go back to Miami. Zo would be a huge upgrade over Haslem or whoever they have playing the 4. If Miami can't convert on Malone, Zo would be just as nice.

I don't understand Zo's health issues. I mean, I understand he has them, but why does he play really hard and a lot of minutes for a month and then he's out for the rest of the season? Didn't that happen the last 2 years also?

Also, I wonder if a Spoon/2nd rounder for Zo would work? Wouldn't the Raps rather get an expiring contract and pick instead of having to buy Zo out?

Zo, get the buy out. Then come to Houstoon -- for 15-18 MPG. YES!

70% Zo is better than both PF's we have (Even with Juwon's 2 good games recently). ZO brings HEART and toughness at the 4 spot and almost 3 blks per game.

Zo's current health issues aren't related to his kidney - at least that's what he and the Nets swore up and down a month or so ago. It sounds like he just has to much wear and tear on his body at this point. I had heard he was developing a slew of joint problems (ankle, knee, back) earlier in the season, which I can believe. I suspect he simply doesn't have more than a couple miles left in his body. Same goes for Malone.

The problems he is having is indirectly related to his kidney problem. His kidney problem resulted from massive doses of anti-inflammatory drugs used to treat the aches and pains in his joints. Due to his kidney problem he can no longer take these types of medications in the dosage and quantities his body needs.

If he could safely go twenty to thirty minutes he would be ideal for this team at the four.

He matches Yao perfectly. He can hit the pick and roll jumper, he can rebound, he can block shots, and occasionally post. What more could you want. If he was healthy he could easily get minutes here. If he wasn't, he'd still be useful in the way that Mutombo is. The key is getting someone who swipe every rebound on offense and defense. We just don't have that.
