Yeah, I heard he has excellent ball handling skills for a player with a 9 foot wingspan. And even though he is pretty young (like 15, I think) he has already got the ladies all over him. I heard both the Williams sisters are into him.

Normally I do not keep up with foreign players - I didn't even know who Boki was until I read about him on here - but this guy I have heard of. I am given to understand, though, that he doesn't want to play in the NBA because of rampant anti-American sentiment in his home country, and that he's dedicating himself to leading Uzbekistan's national team to Olympic and World Championship glory.

If he played in the U.S. we'd probably call him "The Uzi"

I heard that Zlatomir has the toughness to bang down low in the NBA as he has been hardened by years of service in the Uzbekistan Army.

I also have learned that his jumpshot is money, due to all his training in weaponry during his years of dedicated service to his country.

I wanted to chime in about Zlatomir... I visited Asia this summer, and this guy is a legend! I wasn't even in Uzbekistan; I was a couple of countries away, but even there he was a legend.

Alas, this is all useless speculation. Zlatomir has recently stated his desire to stay with his current team, the Kattakurgan Qongirats which translates roughly into the Guerilla Warfarists.
