Zeljko Rebraka to back up Yao at center...cheap, good fit?

    he has a very nice jumper. he is an average rebounder and shot blocker....he could be had for the minimum.


    we could do a lot better.


    after we find a PG we will have either the MLE or the TE to use for a back-up center. that should net us a player good enough to play 18-24 MPG. whoever we get will be a few notches above rebraca.

    Rebraca has a big body. He was killing us in that Atlanta 3OT game last season.

    I like him. He's like a version of Michael Doleac who can play.

    I think you see him as an "average" player because of his LESS THAN "average" playing time. I think he knows the the game better becuase he's been in the league since 2001 and will shine if he gets more PT.

    He still seems like the best fit as far as body and price.

    But, does anybody know if we are pursueing him or if he has considered the Rockets as an option.:confused:

    i think the rockets are looking for more of a bruiser and less of a shooter.


    doleac and rebraca would be nice fits, but we are looking for guys like skinner, foyle, etan thomas.
