Looks like Zelda and Final Fantasy XII will be competing with several next-gen games for sales. Good thing that both the Revolution and PS3 will be backwards compatible. I don't like these delays, but hopefully that means these games are awesome.

Despite this disappointing news, there are some new images for the game:

FFXI, the online FF game that has been on the PS2 and PC for the past few years, will be on the Xbox 360. FF12 is still PS2-only (or PS3-only ;)), unless something changes.

If it makes a better game, then I don't mind.

It could possibly open the door for some Revolution tie ins. What more could they do with 3 months...

So is this a plot to extend its playing time on Revolution or perhaps a way to extend the release of the Revolution? On a side note Sunday Aug 21st the Nintendo DS gets a price drop of $20 making it $150.

I, for one, am happy that it's coming out in Spring 06. I'd hate to have to choose between Zelda or Finals.
