For a title and the belief he will not leave once he has a ring. This would make us the favorites the next 4-5 years.

those are big IFs. win a title without a competent big man on the roster?

kawhi is the kind of loser that can win titles and still hide from his damn team and pout his way out.

    nuke this whole idea.

For those who don't care to click this is the full area that the Rockets are talked about.

    -------------------------------------
Morey strikes! The Rockets could sign-and-trade Clint Capela along with Eric Gordon and two first-round picks for Leonard, Derrick White and Brandon Paul -- provided the Spurs guarantee Paul's contract and Leonard waives his trade kicker.

The math barely works, per several cap experts, even though base-year compensation rules make it absurdly complex to trade Capela (and any other restricted free agent). This is spicy. Daryl Morey is always all-in for stars, and faraway Houston first-rounders could have value if Paul and Leonard suffer health issues.

Still: It feels too crazy. The Spurs probably think they can do better.

So how did the basketball gods intervene to block the Harden deal or the CP3 deal. Just confused because "always" seems to be an absolute.

After hearing all the stories about the situation and his uncle, I don’t wouldn’t want to deal with it.

Hard to think that the Rockets would trade two major pieces in Capela and Gordan for Leonard when there is a question mark around his health and he is a one-year rental if he doesn't re-up. Plus you now have a depth problem and you lose the anchor to your D.
