Google has tweaked YouTube a bit. Besides the 720p/480p/360p replacing HQ/HD. Youtube has a beta for their new video page that simplifies everything and reduces the clutter, along with allowing you to continue to watch a video while searching. I'm liking it so far, especially finally being able to search while continuing to watch the video. Also, I don't know if it's because they've completed they're changes or if it's the HTML 5 beta I also enabled but Youtube has finally become usable for me again in terms of speed. For the past few months it took me forever to load a video, even on my new laptop. I seem to have no problems now. Anybody else have a similar experience? Youtube - New video page beta (It will enable it and take you to a video.) Here's the HTML 5 (Video without Flash, uses a lot less processor power) beta opt-in link. HTML 5 beta (Chrome/Safari Only for now)
huh. Never actually commented with the new interface. I try not to look at Youtube comments too long.
