The Vikings, Rams and Bills are all teams that could be looking for a new home in a couple years.

San Antonio and Austin are the 7th and 15th most populous cities in the US, not counting Round Rock, Georgetown, San Marcus etc.

Would you get behind a Central Texas football team? Would you navigate away from the Cowboys/Texans?

Since i'm no longer a Houston transplant going to UT and I have a full time job in Austin, I might over time. How do other Austin residents feel? The sucky thing that I can't imagine a scenario where the team wouldn't have "San Antonio" in it.

Does anyone know how Austin relates into San Antonio in wealth? I guess it doesn't matter. There is NO WAY this city puts any public money in a NFL stadium. Would love to have season tickets to a NFL team though.

In regards to Austin/SA, UT would fight an Austin NFL team pretty aggressively, and I think they'd probably win out with the city. Austin's loyalty really is to college football. I think if anyone were to get a team, it would be San Antonio.

SA is cowboys country. Jerry being the most powerful man in the nfl would not allow it.

Where are those cities ranked in the "TV Market". Probably very low. It's not always about population.

If the Bills decide to move, the only place they will go is Toronto.

and give LA the Rams, it's kind of ridiculous how LA has no NFL team.

Too small of a market, not enough business base (especially not in Austin....maybe in SA), Cowboys and Texans wouldn't want it, LA still doesn't have a team, etc

    just too many reasons.

If it would keep 1 person from their pilgrimage to Jerry World, do you think there is any, any possibility for your proposition?

    no

Take a team to Mexico City! I would love to see more games at Estadio Azteca. The 105,000 Mexican fans in that city would make a crazy home field advantage. But...yeah...I don't see it happening any time soon.

I heard a rumor this week that London was in line to get Jacksonville.

I just don't see how an 8 hour flight will work for football.

Just hope they don't give out any more expansion teams. The NFL scheduling is so balanced with 32 teams. Division teams share 14 of the same opponents.

    Not going to happen.

There are bigger cities out there with out an NFL team....like...LALA land.

And for the 2nd question. No. I wouldn't support them / switch.

I'm a Texans fan from day 1....and will remain a Texans fan.

I wouldn't want a NFL team in Austin. I like that it's a mix of fans.
Let the Dallas/Houston/San Antonio clash at the cross roads.

I'm perfectly happy with it being a college team town.
