Oh Bush was such a great president for the last eight years that the thought of anyone else replacing him is killing you. Give the guy a few years before you make your judgement. It was a long 8 years before this, we are used to it. If it's any consolation, I too am pretty embarrassed about the level of professionalism in the US Congress. It looks like Americans will just elect any kind of kook .... Pelosi or Delay. Surly the best and brightest of this country won't or can't run for office. All we get are the idle rich and the egomaniacs.
That's because the process we use is not suppose to generate the best and the brightest for the government. If it happens, it is purely by luck. The best you can hopeful is to get competent people in office.
I don't have a clue as to whom you might be referring. Really, factually, Obama was the only candidate I thought to be an exceptional human being, regardless of political philosophy.

hey basso dude.... The way the next 4 years turn out depend mostly on you. You can sit around pissing and moaning for 4 years or you can try to work with the duly elected system as best you can to reap some good out of it for yourself and hopefully those around you.
