What is your prediction standing for Rockets next season? Will they make playoff? I would say 50-32 and NBA championship! I am just a believer, LOL.

    LOL.
    40 wins at the most.
I'm actually hoping they tank for a high draft pick.

40-50. There is no way Les will tank the team.

Parsons will probably improve slightly, but don't expect too much.
    D-Mo will add needed help.
Camby will get hurt; Scola will decline.
K-Mart will rebound from his poor season along with Patterson( who recovered finally from his ankle surgeries).
Budinger will stay the same, along with Lowry/Dragic.
Morris still cannot play defense, so he will not play much.

MEDIOCRITY BOYS, maybe one game above .500 again.

Better to ask this question in July after the draft and the beginning of free agent signings.

40-50. If we make a trade.... it will be for a draft pick. Prolly Drummond, he won't help us much in his first year

This is way too early to predict. We still have the draft, free agency, and the trade deadline....who knows what will happen, it's do or die for Morey. He's been nothing thus far.

We're in groundhog's year. 9th seed in the West, 14th pick in the draft.

My predictions for next year is the Rockets win enough games to be a .500 team but not enough to make the playoffs. They are going to fall in 9th spot in the Western Conference and get another 14th pick in the lottery like the last 3 years.

Morey isn't going to make a big splash this offseason or by the Feb trade deadline. They may make a few small moves but it won't help much. Les wants a team that has the best chance of winning on the floor each and every night which will hurt the Rockets because his best winning team isn't good enough to go anywhere but good enough to win enough games to put us out of the top 10 lottery.

Unfortunately the Rockets future doesn't look very bright unless they do something immediately like rebuild this whole entire team with young talent with high potentials. Right now the Rockets have good role players. Role players don't win championships or even a single playoff series. Right now in the NBA, champion caliber teams have more than 1 superstar, the Rockets have non. The bad thing is, not only the Rockets don't have a superstar but not even an all star caliber player. They don't have the pieces or the cap space to get an all star player. They don't want to rebuild and continue to add more above average veterans role players.

While other teams that are rebuilding like the Hornets, Cavs, Wizards etc, they will be better than the Rockets very soon. Its sad but they all have brighter futures than the ROckets right now. The Hornets have some very good young talented players with potentials in Gordan, Aminu, plus they are drafting a game changer in this year's draft. The Cavs have a young and bright PG and a high pick this year and so does the Wizards.

The Rockets doesn't have a player that will become a star. All of our players are good but they need someone that can carry them. Hopefuly Morey can trade up this upcoming draft. Right now, Dwight Howard sounds tempting but the Rockets don't have a chance in landing him, or even Deron Williams. If the Rockets still wants Pau Gasol, they are foolish. Pau Gasol is getting old and his game has taken a dip dramatically. He seem like he has lost his confidence in his offensive game. If the Rockets manage to get Pau Gasol, it would only delay our rebuilding process. He won't get us anywhere, not even in the playoffs. Plus by getting Pau, the Rockets would have to give up a lot of trading chips which they can use for a higher lottery pick which would most likely help us more than a Pau Gasol would.

The Rockets would be lucky to win 40 games or even make it in the playoffs. Most likely they will end up in 9th place again. Championship? They can barely compete for the 8th spot in the Western Conference. Sorry but thats the life nowadays of a Rockets fan.

Teams around us are getting better and the Rockets are staying put. Not getting better but slowly getting worst as our players starts to decline. Unless they have some young talent that can grow along with their potentials, the Rockets aren't going anywhere. I wish Les would just think outside the box like other owners for once. Les is an owner, not a GM, he should let the GM do the job.

It sucks that the Clippers who the Rockets always beaten over the past and never see them as a threat but a joke are now better than the Rockets with a much brighter future. Remember how the Rockets always beats Memphis after they traded away Gasol? Now they are a playoff team and the Rockets aren't even close. If the Rockets don't watch out and make a big change to this organization, teams like Wizards, Hornets, Cavs, Warriors, Pistons, or even the Bobcats will surpass the Rockets.

I don't think Morey wants to see Rockets getting same results next year as for last three years. Morey understands that Rockets have mediocre roster for last few years. He's going to do something big in the offseason. But if he can't get superstars in the offseason, he can improve this roster by signing veterans. Remember last year when had Stern not vetoed the trade, Rockets would have gotten Pau Gasol. Morey will keep exploring the players available to help Rockets become a contender team. I just don't see Morey doing nothing in this offseason. He is still one of the best GM in the NBA because he kept exploring and exploring what is the best for this team. He knows that his job is on the line if he can't still improve the Rockets. Maybe we could see the Rockets move up in the draft picks in order to get a potential superstar. If Morey improves this roster dramatically by trade and free agency, I can see Rockets making playoff next year.
