So... i was reading this thread about 'relatives in the pro's' and I thought it was gonna be about YOUR relatives that are in the pro's... but it was about people who are pro's and are related... so I thought I would create this thread, for folks who have relatives that are in the pro's or college... tell us about them. I'll start... My wife's first cousin is Ken Dorsey! University of Miami quarterback... do you have relatives in college sports or in the pros??

Isn't Castor's brother-in-law a pitcher in the Majors? Cory Sears #92 of the Texans is a couple of my best buds' 1st cousin.
I helped Cory Redding (DE of the Horns) in one of my computer classes in high school when i was a sophmore and he was a junior. Great guy, even remembered me with all the fame he gained when he was a senior.
I went to high school with Grant Irons of the Buffalo Bills. We went to McC in the Woodlands and also played against each other in Little League at ORWALL. He was a really cool guy, always was very friendly to everyone.
I have 2 cousins that were hockey players in college, my sister and I were varsity athletes in college... 2 of my dad's cousins were multi-sport letter winners at ND, one went to the NFL + hall of fame. My grandfather played for Knute Rockne and got chucked from the team... for being married. Times change. I went to high school with, and graduated the same year as, Justin Thompson and Kevin Hodges. I know Kevin Hodges had a cup of coffee in the majors and Justin Thompson went to an All-Star game.
My friends cousin is Quentin Griffin from the Sooners. I've met him a few times. He's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He's also really quiet, you can hardly get a peep out of him. Tony Jeffery(Longhorns reciever) was our quarterback in high school at Klein Forest. He used to work out with me in the weight room. I've also played against Sloan Thomas and Chance Mock. They were in our district. I've been friends with Jason Klotz since elementary school. I've got a lot of friends playing college ball and I could make a whole list of them. I'm still trying to get back on the football field myself.
oh, one more...don't know if he's pro or anything...but: one of my best friends dad used to work out with Arnold Schwarzenegger every day for 2 years or somethin. That's pretty rad.
hehe...reminds me of that scene that got deleted from Pulp Fiction, where Mia is interviewing Vincent with that video camera. Mia: Are you related to Suzanne Vega? Vincent: Yeah, that's my cousin. Mia: Suzanne Vega, the folk singer, is your cousin? Vincent: No, Suzanne Vega is my cousin. If she became a folk singer, I sure as hell don't know about it, though I haven't been to too many Thanksgivings lately... I have a feeling that "Sean Kemp is my daddy!" will be a pretty popular phrase in a few years...
