I really think that we will contend! Think about it there is not a really dominant center in the west and everyone on here is thinking because Yao went down that we are not going to contend. I think if T-Mac can come back by January and play all star caliber ball and by the time the playoffs come our team will be used to playing together with the new addition of Anderson and Ariza and lets not forget CBUD who I think is going to be lights out in a new uptempo offense. I think the ROCKETS are going to surprise alot of people next year! I think we will at least end up a 5 seed and make another run at the Lakers... NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION!

Get ready to see a Houston team w/ a losing record.

    It hurts saying that. :(

I know this may sound crazy but I think the Rockets will win over 70 games this year Matter of fact they might go 82-0

    Go Clutch!!!

    definately better than horrible. >30
but cant see them reaching the 50 mark.

About the poll thou, I do see Rox getting about 42-43 wins and still making for the playoffs. The top team(Lakers, SA, Portland and Dallas) will be even better this season and bottom teams have shown improvement(Memphis and OKC). While along with Rox, mid table team have stay stagnant or even regressed.

    with battier: 40 wins

    without battier: 30 wins

yeah battier is a winner in every sense.

    but lets trade him.
    haha

25-44 wins looks like a safe bet. And I think there's a greater chance we hit 50 wins that win less than 25.
