I don't know if any of you are interested in doing this, but for those of you that have never done it before, I thought it might be interesting to do this test. http://www.politicalcompass.org I don't frequent the D&D as often as most of you, however, so if this has come up ad nauseum before, by all means ignore. For what it's worth, I was almost dead center Moderate. I got one tick on the authoritarian side.
Economic Left/Right: 2.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.15 Almost dead center, two units to the right. Closest to Gerhard Schroder and Paul Martin.

Your political compass Economic Left/Right: -0.62 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.10 I am closest to Pope John Paul II... surprise!
Economic Left/Right: -6.50 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.87 Close to Ghandi and the Dalai Lama.
Economic Left/Right: -5.25 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.46 Wow. I'm a liberal! Who would have guessed? So, even though I voted for Bush and was kind of relieved that he won, I'm still a liberal. Remember that. I can't be that bad. I feel so much cooler now! and this post is actually not as sarcastic as you might think... it's good to be able to see both sides. The chart put me in the social justice type liberal neighborhood (i.e. Nelson Mandela). Of course, the questions they asked were general... sometimes, when it comes down to specific situations, I want to resolve them different ways.
Don't be too surprised. I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm conservative on some issues, liberal on others. I think we all tend to be conservative when it comes to personal decisions but more liberal when it comes to big picture type issues. I like to take things on an issue-by-issue basis. Hey, I voted for both Republicans and Democrats in the elections yesterday.
Economic Left/Right +1 Social LiberitarianAuthoritarian -0.87 No one in my quadrant.....and I wonder why I can never find a canidate that is economically fiscal without stupid social policies.
Economic Left/Right: -5.88 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.26 I'm another Ghandi type personage. ^^v
