Sheila Jackson Lee needs to be indicted. These shenanigans have been going on for a decade. I'm not joking. Back when I was a doorman at Timberwolf Pub sidelining as a country singer, I remember picking up a Houston Press that berated her nonsense. And that was 1998! She needs to be gone.
Good to see you MattJ. Hoping you might give us the clarification that you never gave in GARM (unless I missed it). Did you actually tease Pryzbilla as an insider or was it just your own 'cool' trade idea? Because, you being who you are, a lot of us vouched for it being a legit inside rumor at least rather than just you having a cool idea. Ten pages later or whatever without clarification was weak, brother. We count on our insiders here (like you). When you post stuff like that, people turn on their radios and listen no matter what else they had planned. When you post in cryptic DocRocket/popeye style and tell people to tune in and it turns out to be only what you feel like talking about on the radio that day instead of any kind of actual inside thing you trash your own credibility and make it that much harder for anyone in the crazy GARM to trust any supposed insider. Which makes the GARM suck more than it has to. Imagine if Feigan posted here saying "Remember Me?" with a picture of Rudy Gay and a hint to check the Chronicle the next day and the next day's story amounted to "Wouldn't it be cool to trade for Rudy Gay? Just my opinion." A whole lot of people would have posted about it, a whole lot of people would have picked up the paper and a whole lot of people would never make the mistake of listening to Feigan ever again. On this board, that's way worse than anything Sheila Jackson Lee has the power to do. Please don't do that again.

At this point (and I suspect it will be forever), the Democrats are not going to even consider putting that resolution up for debate/vote. I assume you are using that as justification for using taxpayer's money for funding her trip. I certainly don't see how she was representing her Houston constituents in presenting that resolution at a memorial service.
