Series wasn't close? Stop it, Rox were up 3-2. Margin was skewed by games that were blowouts. But keep telling yourself it wasn't close.
They were up after 3 quarters in games 4 and 5. Most of the time they would win both of those games and win 4-1, but variance/luck played a big part of extending that series.
Dude it sucks that we lost but it wasnt entirely on the officials man. I agree they did not help and there was some definite bs. But seriously without CP3, the Rockets are essentially last years team. Do you honestly believe we had any shot in hell last season at beating the effing Warriors? LeBron couldnt win a single game against them and you expected Harden to outdo LeBron???? We competed man, the end result is disappointing and still hurts but let’s move on...
Game 7 could have been close if it was officiated fairly, I know it's sucks and can t do anything about it now but move on...
I dont see why. Outside the bay no one wanted to see the Warriors win again. Im sure Silver would have been pleased had the Rockets been able to pull it out...
Yes, because he is better than Lebron When they make mistakes worth 22 points swing then its entirely on them. oh they were so much better? why then, oh why refs had to help them so blatantly that even rockets haters in announcers had to call them out?
Huh? Where was the variance/luck? I'm calling BS on that. Paul hit a few tough shots in key moments but in general Houston shot poorly in the series and offensively didn't do anything that was unsustainable. They won three games by playing amazing defense and forcing GS out of their normal rhythm and THEN Houston lost an A+ defender for the last two games after losing another 'A' defender for the series(Mbah a Moute was HUGE for this team in reg season but was simply not healthy in the Warriors series). I mean you want to talk about LUCK - the Rockets lost a HOF player who happens to match up well against Curry - who got lucky there? And don't tell me the team with 4 All Stars is complaining that they lost their 5th All Star for part of the series and had to go 4 all stars against 1 for the last two games of the series....if you think Houston was lucky to get to game 7, you should reread the definition of luck.
Oh great Rockets fan, was that game 6 or 7 or another game this may 22nd tweet was referring to? Come on man, bring something relevant. This doesn’t mean you’re wrong but you are definitely not talking about a post CP3 injury timeout. May 22nd.
I firmly believe Lebron could have at least won one game, he gave in to his injury, he caved mentally.
He isn't totally wrong, the Warriors only played 70-80% of last season when they dominated the playoffs at times. Their chemistry was not the best, we almost took advantage, almost. We looked like the hungrier, defensive savvy team in the Games 4 and 5.
