I've been trolling anyone cheering for GSW by telling them they are playing an asterisk series for a fake trophy. We won game 7. 22 point rig job is no joke.
0 for 27 times 3 = 81 points to overcome the conspiracy. Even 30% shooting would have given us enough to overcome the conspiracy.
It is what it is, wether it was bad reffing or missed shots or short rotations. Its over, done, all we can now is look forward to free agency.
I get that whole they miss this & that shot in the 2nd half... if we got those damn calls or none calls our lead would be 22+ not 11 and that would sustain the damn 9 point loss. 0-27 and only loss by 9 says a lot.
We needed one of three things to go our way, and we went 0/3 1) fair officiating 2) average or below average 3 point shooting 3) healthy CP
27 missed threes doesn't justify bullshit officiating Missed shots happen, blatant missed calls should not.
I accept that we lost it's over, time to move on to next year instead of going the route of making what if statements... like a certain group here
We are not the champs. We had an amazing year and while it ended in disappointment especially with CP3s injury leaving a big what if, the fact is the Warriors beat us. As encouraging as the 3-2 lead was, a healthy CP3 never guaranteed a series victory. The Warriors had beat us twice in convincing fashion with CP3 playing. Games 4 and 5 were great wins but they were a grind and could have gone either way. Again, the injury sucked ass and the officiating in game 7 which I didnt point out earlier, did not help either. That said, we pushed GS and proved we can contend when healthy. If we can take some gratification in that fact, great I suppose; but the fact is the Warriors won and are now one win from a ship and the Rockets’ season has been over for a few weeks now. On to next year...
1) 0-27 is inaccurate b/c harden actually banked in a 3 over klay at the 9:31 mark of the 3rd Q, foster just waived it off. tnt announcers were adamant that shot should have counted. they were also adamant harden should have received FT's on many ignored fouls on prior 3 attempts as well. 2) game 1 foster brothers, game 3 marc davis, game 6 mauer & malloy -- all rigged games in addition to game 7 3) "time to move on to next year" -- heard by the blazers in 2001, kings in 2002....rockets in 2005? mavs in 2006? this league office will still be run by the same crooked critters next year and again it will simply come down to which team makes the owners more $$$.
