Not sure if it's been done before, but thought it might be an interesting thread. My first concert was Uriah Heep at Hoffeinz Pavilion. Backup bands were Tucky Buzzard and Crossroads (I think that was their name). I must have been 12 or 13yo.
Asia at the Summit about 82 or 83 2nd was Rush and Golden Earing at the Summit about the same time frame.
I can't really remember, but I think it was the Scorpians at the Summit or Whitesnake at the Summit...Pretty cool...my first experience of "What's that smell"...
George Carlin was my first concert. AC/DC was shortly thereafter. (People always tell me Carlin doesn't count)
Johnny Gill, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Keith Sweat in Murfreesboro (at MTSU) when I was a senior in high school.
Rice Stadium, 1995. Billy Joel and Elton John live. I was eight, and I still remember it. Still love Billy Joel more than anything.
Alice Cooper - Kentucky State Fair late 70's. I wasn't a fan, but went along for the ride with friends. My next concert was better. The next year at the same state fair I saw Heart. Walter "Magnet and Steel" Egan opened for them. My hearing has never been the same.
I was at that show... But my first one was the Iron Maiden Stranger in Time tour at The Summit in 1986.
Incubus in 2001 in New Orleans... I passed up on Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters a year before that because of other obligations...
New Edition (Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, and Ralph), UTFO, and The Real Roxanne in Shreveport, LA around 1985.
no farking idea. my last concert was the black crowes, drive by truckers, and robert randolph at the backyard lsat month.
