Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone wanted to share their decorations with the group. Below is a pic of my house with all the lights on at night. Because of all the cats, we can't decorate much inside and our tree is on the front porch for everyone to enjoy. :) There are icicle lights in the windows which is why they are glowing but it's tough to get good pics at night. Anyway, share yours!

    WOW!
You're house rivals the gay neighbors I used to have in college!:D
How have they done with all this rain?

I do no lights or tree, just go to my parents house and watch. Good job!

well... we went minimal when it comes to xmas decorations. we've never been flashy or tons of lights, etc...

to be honest... i could really care less about decorating, but the wife loves xmas, so we put a tree up and some lights...

you can't see our poinsetta's in the planters by the porch steps, but they're there... we did some plain white, non-blinking lights for the porch and our tree... my digital cam is really old, so it doesn't take pics worth a flip... but I thought I would post...see our tree in the window!?

    here's a decoration for ya...
    my xmas prized posession...

    my basketball playing Santa!!
and now... power forward for the North Pole All-Stars...
    #25... Santa Clauuuuuuuuuussssssssss!!

    Jeff,

You and I could be in a Griswald competition. I will try to scan in a picture for you.

I even have an image of Santa beamed onto my garage door.

All of my lights are on timers, set to go on at 5:45pm and go off at Midnight.

    DaDakota -aka Clark Griswald.

Hey Jeff....is that your Christmas tree on your porch?

Maybe you could put your presents out there.....you know...under the tree. I'll be by later to pick them up ;o)

Do you have another tree inside? Or are you'll planning on camping out on the porch to try and catch Santa in the act?

    Ho ho ho....

DaDakota -- just curious, where do you live? The reason I ask is that I was driving around Sunday night and came across a house with an image beamed onto the garage door. This was in a neighborhood off Parmer lane.

    Freak,

I live in Oak Hill. 2 years ago I got mentioned as one of the houses to visit to see lights in Austin on Kvue.

I had this stuffed man hanging from my roof all tangled in lights with the ladder leaning over, like the guy hanging the lights had fallen and was clutching on to the roof.

All of this was lit of course....but now my wife is making me tone it down a bit....GRRR.

We put our tree on the porch for 2 reasons:

    1. Everyone can enjoy it.
    2. The cats would destroy it if it was inside. :)

By putting it outside, we still get a tree and get to look at it, but we don't have to worry about it coming down in the middle of the night with 5 cats in its branches. :D
