Do you set it fast? By how much? Do you snooze? How many times? Do you set it on the other side of the room so you have to get up to turn it off?

Mine has 2 alarms. First one is set to radio (610) and goes off at 5:09. Second one set to alarm and goes off at 5:30. I snooze it every 7 minutes until about 6:15 or so, then crawl out of bed to the shower.

I used to set it 10 minutes fast, but after a while, it doesn't fool you anymore, so what's the point...

I set mine 5 minutes fast. It's set for 6:35, and I need to be up by 6:50 or so, so that gives me some brief snooze time. I used to set it for 3:00 AM, just so I'd have that awesome feeling of knowing I have several more hours to sleep. Once my girlfriend moved in though, it put a stop to that.

10 minutes fast, at the foot of the bed so I at least have to move to hit the snooze button. I have it set to 7:40 and only snooze it once (its 10 mins). I used to run the 4-5 snooze gambit, but I read that you actually get more rest if you just sleep longer as opposed to snoozing, so I only do it once. I have the radio set to whatever- my wife keep changing it on accident by hitting the tuning knob. Sometimes I lay there listening to hispanic radio, sometimes it's gospel, etc.

My cell phone sits next to my bed and has an alarm set to 6:45am everyday.

Alarm 1: Set to CD (1st song A-HA Take on Me   )
    Alarm 2: Set to Radio

I wish I could wake up to Howard Stern. Once my radio goes off, I have to hit MP3/Line In and turn on the Sirius receiver.

Set to KPFT, goes off at 6AM, but I'm usually wide awake before it goes off. :(

    I am very sleep deprived.

Before we married, my wife set her clock fast by some random amount. Once she figured out how fast it ran, she'd change it, so it was fast by a different amount. She was always late to stuff, so this was her mechanism for being punctual (didn't work). I put an end to that. I'm so annoyed at not knowing the right time. But, since she's adopted other elements of my lifestyle, she's not late anymore.

I used to set the alarm to radio, but I had to stop because my wife would want to leave the radio on, which would wake up my daughter who would then slow me down as I get ready for work. Now, it just beeps, so I can turn it off and get up. Half the time though, I wake up without the alarm anyway. I think having kids does that to you.

My alarm used to be at 8am with 610 on the radio. Now it's a baby monitor - usually goes off sometime between 5:30 and 7:45.

Time is set correctly. No snooze. I get up when the alarm goes off.

two alarms. (snooze button is every 5 minuutes)

first goes off at 6:50 (chirping birds, sometimes I use waterfall, but it's normally chirping birds). gentle way to wake me up.

2nd goes off at 7:00 to hard rock music or rap.

My wife has the alarm set for 7:00am. I wake up on my own (internal alarm clock) around 6:30am every day. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to turn off the internal one on the weekends  .

I use an old cell phone that has 3 settings. First is at 4:50, second at 5 and third at 5:10. I think my wife hates it, but now that she is off for the summer, she can go back to sleep for as long as she wants.

i use my phone. Set for 6 am. It's usually on vibrate. Mon-Thurs.

I usually wake up randomly through the night 1-3 times.

Often times, I wake up 15 mins before my alarm goes off my snooze is like 5 mins, but i never touch it.
