Brief Backstory: My brother, Eric, has been trying to become a rap artist since he was about 7 years old, but since he had a lot going for him with basketball, he didn't have much time to make music, so he had to put his music career on hold. He wound up getting offered a scholarship to play for Arizona State, but had to stop attending the school after his first semester for financial issues. Now he's 100% going into his music career and really wants some opinions from anyone who can give him constructive critism. I'm hoping you all can help out, simply by clicking the link below and watching the video, subscribing, adding him as a friend on youtube, anything to help out, pretty much. I know there's a few people on this board I can count on and I'm hoping yall can come through for me one time.

P.S: I say "REAL" Hip Hop because he's not going to be talking about what a lot of rap artist nowadays talk about (money, sex, cars, clothes, etc.) but he'll be talking about real-life experiences and situations that a lot of people may be able to relate to. He'll occasionally do some freestyles on tracks (he's currently taking fan request so if you have some, just post in this thread and i'll send them to him, but please provide the youtube link to the song that you'd want him to freestyle too, thanks). Well, to those that read all of this, i appreciate it. To those that didn't read all this, but clicked the link, i appreciate that, too. To those that didn't do anything, hopefully you'll be willing to help out next time. Thanks for all the future help, yall. CLUTCHFANS!

    R.I.P. his career. :(

;) I kid, man. :p It seems that's all the "successful" R&B, Rap, and Hip Hop peeps sing about nowadays. Good luck to him. And spell "aspiring" right the next time!

Yeah, i appreciate all of the good luck wishes and all. He's already signed and he's just trying to get major and he's literally halfway in the door as far as being where he wants to be and getting known, so this isn't just another one of those "aspiring" rap artists that aren't working hard. He's really trying to make it and me and him get annoyed because people see him working hard and won't simply take the time out to check his video that is just like 5mins long or go to his page or comment on the vid or w/e, ya know? Guess this is a pretty cold world, but i'm glad yall are reliable, MUCH appreciation!

FAIL. Dont confuse what you hear on the radio as true hiphop.

I for one like his laid-back, chill delivery. However, that Jump Rope track sounds just like every other song out there. He's rapping about the same stuff, as much as every rapper says they're not.

Honestly, he is bad. His delivery is weak and lyrical skills are minimal. There are a lot of black guys trying to do the same thing....you should tell him to stop now and find another career =/
