Please read through the end and make no jockes! I have been a ROCKETS FAN for god knows how long,and I am proud to say it! We are fan of one of the greatest sports teams ever! I visit this BBS few times a day,and I love it.Heck,this is the best you can get!!!!!! But,everytime I login I see a few of our players are being bashed,or we like to trade them to just get someone with a little name and not really talent. We ask for team chemistry,and yet we are being a distraction. When are we going to believe in ourselves,and let the team know that we believe in them? Can every player in a 10 man rotation team average 15 points and 10 rebounds?Then we would score 150 points a game on average. A good team averages 100 points a game,and by all means we can do that. Does the players name have to be X and not Y to do so??NO We have a young group of players with a lot of chemistry,so please lets be a part of it. Lets let them know that we believe in them,and we want them to make us prouder what we already are. Lets let them know that they can,that WE can!! The training camp starts in a few days and I know Clutch or Jeff will be there,so lets let them hear we love them,and that also are part of this family. Let Clutch have something to take there when he goes,not just to bring some news. Lets ALL be one!!!!!! Lets show why we are the best fan and have the best fan BBS. ------------------

I think we are all fans, but as fans, we want what is best for "our" team. This forum gives us the ability to talk with like-minded people and to bounce ideas off of them. I personally love the Rocks, but I will also criticize them whenever I think they deserve it. It is our right to argue about the player movements of our team. We do it because we love our team and believe in them and always want them to get better. People who complain about people who complain really have no argument. There's no need to start arguing over who believes in the rockets,etc,etc. We know we're all fans and will root for them whoever they have. ------------------ Remember.... himself... if we sat down and had a talk about a player on another team and discussed his merit, would it be OK for us to disagree? Perhaps I think Darius Miles is way over-rated and hasn't proven a thing yet...you on the other hand have him as MVP of the Rookies vs Sophs All-Star game and a sure bet for NBA Rookie of the year. Can we as intelligent people disagree? Does this all change if the player we are talking wears a Rockets uniform? I don't think it should. NOBODY posting here would dare mention trading Steve Francis, but can I have have a concern about defensive intensity? Or worry about turnovers or even that he takes too many physical risks during the games? Intelligent minds can, will and should push for positive exchanges and will surely disagree over time! People like to fantasise! Everyone has their favourite player and they all like to figure out ways to get that player onto the Rockets roster - so trades are proposed and then "discussed" in a civil manner......... ------------------
