you are hitting the refresh button, and monitoring the bathroom usage of MIT students on a Sat night http://bathroom.mit.edu/ also, http://laundry.mit.edu/ this one is a great idea for campus... now if they only had one for the showers
Weird. I'm not sure what that bathroom thing is supposed to mean, but I hope it's not accurate, at least about the one that has been occupied for 4 days. You do have to be bored if you sit here online "watching" people dry their clothes. I also wonder about the minds that came up with this.
Come on Isabel, I think it's pretty ingenious. Think about the uses for it in other industries. Hmmm... It's like the dude that invented the first wheel. Caveman Ugh : "What is it?" Caveman Grunt : "It's a wheel." Caveman Ugh : "A what?" Caveman Grunt : "A wheel." Caveman Ugh : "Oh... what does it do?" Caveman Grunt : "Well, it rolls.. watch this" *roll* *roll* *roll* Caveman Ugh : "Well that's pretty stupid, is that all it does?" Caveman Grunt : "Yup" Caveman Ugh : "Whatever. You gonna help me move caves this weekend?" Caveman Grunt : "Yeah sure" Caveman Ugh : "Man, I sure wish the new cave wasn't so damn far - dragging all that stuff across the ground is a pain in the butt" Caveman Grunt : "Yeah, I know what you mean" Caveman Ugh : "Catch ya l8r" Caveman Grunt : "Aight" *roll* *roll* *roll*
The laundry room monitor is AWESOME!!! I wish there was something like that when I went to school. There's nothing worse than lugging a huge bag of laundry all the way to the laundry room just to find every washer being used. And you can't be lazy and just leave your clothes there and come back 1 hour later, or they'll get stolen. (Sadly I have first hand experience with this. Why do people want to steal dirty clothes? Gross.)
Ha - I LOVE THIS THING. Ppl did actually use it when I was in school. I didn't live in that dorm though (it's known to be a little eccentric).
What's wrong with Loop K cause no one has been in it for 16 days. Someone left a nice turd or something?
