    We only have a chance if he gets fed up with the T-wolves organization...which is not going to happen for a while if it does. But knowing Kahn, I wouldn't be surprised haha

    They're down to crunch time. They're trying to keep the 5 year deal available for Rubio. If they give it to Love, then Rubio can walk away from them after his rookie contract under the new CBA. So, if they stay firm on that issue and Love refuses to accept the 4 year deal they are offering, then they are in serious position to lose him altogether if he gets upset and signs his 1 year offer so he can walk away next season.

    Minnesota is under the gun right now until tomorrow evening at midnight if they don't cough that 5-year deal. Then they are under the gun for the next 4 years with Rubio.

    Because Love is a better player than any player on our roster save possibly Lowry.

    Whenever the news first came out that they were offering him a 4 year deal, I thought maybe he had already told them 4 years was all he felt comfortable committing to for right now. They would have had no choice but to give him the fifth year if he really pushed for it.

    The better question is, WHO would we trade for Love?

    Hill - Pfft!
    Bud - Perhaps, RA seems to have a man crush on him.
    2Pat - Possibly, he is coming off an ankle injury though and that will lower his already low trade value considerably.
    KMart - I can see this as he is great for RA to start his system with.
    Dragic - Likely as he will be great playing alongside or behind Rubio. Truly a career backup! ;)
    Flynn - Pfft! Why would they want their trash back?!?
    Beet - Possibly, to make salaries match. Maybe he can join the ball boys.
    Lowry - They don't need him and putting him in a backup role behind Rubio would not be good for anyone. Hey, at least DD can go back to calling him a career backup.
    Lee - I can see TWolves asking for him if Morey could ever get this ridiculous pipe dream to happen. A trade for Love would be more of a mind rape than Jedi mind tricks.
    Parsons - Actually, I think RA would love a guy like Parsons, but he would be more of a bone to the wolves. *waits for cricket noises*
    Scola - On the wrong side of the track for age and skill is in obvious decline. I don't think Khan is that dumb.
    Lin - Oh wait, he is not here anymore. No! I lost my only racial connection to this team! :p
