Maybe. But his offensive line is awful; his QB is awful; & the Titans have no other offensive threats. And I think at least some of that "washed" comes from the Texans (finally) shutting him down. But, man.... washed guys don't drop 153 in week 18, do they?

I wouldn't want him to get 20+ carries. But 12-15 with a complimentary back?

Really, my point is more: I'd rather Henry than Barkley.

I don’t want Shipley, but he had sub 4.5 times in highschool. And is know to be extremely quick and elusive. I just don’t see him being more than a 3rd down back type

I'd rather neither by a large, large margin.

I don’t remember any excitement at all for David Johnson… quite the opposite.

Barkley is the same age as Mccaffery when he left the Panthers and went to the Niners.

I sure do. It was a joke

I’m perfectly fine with Barkley as an option of course not locking in some crazy long term deal.

You can have washed up, "goal line only" Henry, give me Saquon. I dare you to watch this and not see him as a perfect fit

I'd prefer neither. Give me a lead back like Tim Smith (ancient history reference) to find and widen the holes and then try Pierce or any plow horse back. It's old school, but if you can find a lead back that can find holes and a primary back who can catch to act as a safety valve. the Run Pass option becomes a greater threat.

Yeah, if Slowick leaves, I guess we can bring him in to call plays. Not sure why this would make me want to overpay him to rumble 3.5 yards a carry before getting hurt?

Practically every team has embarrassed our run game this year. We are a poor run blocking team. We should be 65-35 pass to run. Pass to set up the run is the only way to succeed with our current OL.

Yeah, let’s check it 3.9 for 2023. Take out the feed Henry game they’re on par for the year.

oh injuries? Sure, let’s look at it.

Henry’s missed more games in the last 3 years? Haha, this is just petty.

Instant upgrade. Not saying he’s as good but CMC had the injury prone label until he got to SF.

Would Barkely be better when healthy? Sure, but paying a RB top dollars is GM malpractice.

Thank you. The injury prone label needs to stop. CMC had the same label and was the same age when he went to SF. No Saquon is not as good, but let’s not just blatantly push the injuries and over the hill BS.
He had one significant injury which caused him to miss all games after the first 2 as well as the first 3 of the following season. Other than that he has miss 6 games in 4 years… goodness y’all

Henry has had so many impressive performances: however, I think his best football days are over. A cheap deal would be hard to pass up though.

I think you can get a back in the later rounds that fits this scheme. This is the scheme that has produced great rbs who were late rounds or undrafted.

Could've said the same about CMC and David Montgomery. Hell Jonathan Taylor has only played one full season (great season), the two that followed and this current season were riddled with injuries, he still got paid.

Plus if we keep Singletary and either add a guy in the draft or Pierce picks up the system and gets better at pass protection we'll have a committee that should keep Saquon relatively healthy

I just had a simulated Draft where I picked up:

    23 Bowers TE 6'3"

59 Brooks RB Very good in all phases from running to catching and blocking.

    86 Wilson WR 6'6"

123 Fiske DT 6'5" 305 anchor against the run.

    127 Wiley TE 6'7"

Is 59 too high for the highest rated RB if available?

I'd love to see how defenses would cover this group.
