you know we are only about 7 games out of that last playoff spot. and with the amount of games we have left its really not that unlikely that we can slither our way into the playoffs........? What you guys think, honestly, I am a die hard fan but I am also in touch with reality......I think it COULD very well happen.

    What u guys think????

Anythings possible, but i like the suggestion that we need to be about 6 games under .500 to even think about the playoffs. Utah is playing well now, Portland is picking it up,seattle is playing good, but the Clipps and Suns are slipping. We need to put together some 3 and 4 game win streaks to make up the edge.

No doubt.....even if we only when 3 games at a time, we do it about 3 or 4 times and we in there :) I feel much better thinking that if we when 7 games and 1 or 2 other teams lose 7 (which is very likely.....come on the Clippers are at .500???) we are in the playoff run, rather than thinking we are 12 away from even being at .500......thats kind of depressing.

I would love to think that the Rockets could make the playoffs, but I think had there not been all those injuries the team was only going to win about 55% of their games. If we do that now, I think we'd most likely still be out of the playoffs, and don't know what the chances of winning closer to 60% are.

I think it's doubtful, but anything is possible, and I would love to see it happen.

Technically 5 games out. The Rockets are only 5 games out in the loss column behind the 8th seed. The Rockets can make that up as long as they play consistently.

We were 6 out when Francis came back, and we are no closer now...what does that tell you.

    No playoffs this year.

    Doesn't seem likely to me,

Not only would we have to win games, but depend on some other Western Conf. team to collapse, and with our luck.............

But hey, who am I, I'm just some guy who has nothing better to do but post on a damn BBS board all damn DAy!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D

There is no way we can pull back into the race unless we have someone who can score with Steve. Cuttino is a very good scorer and plays very well with Francis but at least in recent games, he hasn't been able to have a big game on the same night as Steve. This might be due to the ankle problems or whatever but it really doesnt' matter. We need someone like EG to step up and pick up on the scoring. He's been doing a good job lately but needs more minutes.
