That's the smartest, richest form of laziness I have ever seen. I can only hope that one day I create a few templates that earn me billions

it's not "insane", it's called being efficient and utilizing time and resources correctly.. what's the point of making special dance moves if a simple one could work for several? who gives a crap about the dance moves anyway..

it amazes me how little things like this amuse people..

Hmmm. As long and as much work went into those movies that long ago, why not cut some corners? I think it's actually kind of cool to look back and see that they did such a thing.

i think it's efficient...yet im amused by it, just because you would think each classic disney movie had so much work put into it.

it could be intentional. there's a lot of self-referencing/easter eggs in disney cartoons.

To be fair it looks like it's just the Aristocats and Robin Hood ripping off some older classics. Disney has a bunch of classic films but also quite a few clunkers so I guess we shouldn't be surprised if some of their animation isn't quite up to snuff.

Pixar on the other hand is still pretty much perfect. Still waiting for their first stumble.

From what I see, it's definitely Robin Hood and the Aristocats ripping off the older films. The prince/princess ballroom dance thing is probably intentional and an easter egg type thing.

Agreed - I'm sure the final scene was more of an homage. The other two films were obviously cranked out on a lower budget and had to do some creative borrowing.

I think this does prove that Disney was totally lazy with Robin Hood & The Aristocats. Oddly enough, both movies sucked and came out at the same time as hippies. Hmmm.

It doesnt mean its lazy. Its efficient.

When your at work you take skills from different jobs to apply to a new task. Makes you lazy I guess.

Movies where still great and It didnt change my opinion of them.

Aw man, I noticed that crap when I was like 7... I could have told you that Baloo and Little John were the SAME BEAR but different colors; or that the Robin Hood gang was almost exactly like the Aristocats.

Other than that, no, I hadn't noticed. Anyway, the formula worked, so why not milk it?

i don't think it's about being efficient...you're dealing with film here...each one needs to be unique..
