    Why this movie will suck:

    1) How can the so-called better dance team be captained by a white guy??

    2) Steve Harvey means no street cred

    3) Didn't B2K break up?? That ruins any hope for a sequel

It would be cooler if it was "you got surrrrrrved." That could be the next big rap hit, take that to the bank.

It looks like a modern day Beat It video. I'm sure all of you know that there is nothing more "street" than out dancing each other. I wouldnt see this if someone paid me.

    bring it on rocked.

    I love that movie.

you got that right, we dont need a male version of it. Who wants to see the carwash scene if it has it?

As a b-boy(breakdancer), I want to see the movie due to personally knowing some of the dancers in that movie. I also had a chance to get on the movie to dance but couldn't make the trip to LA. Anyway, all this movie seems to be is a modern day version of Beat Street or Breakin'. All it's doing is commercializing "breakdancing" again and throwing it with more main stream "hip hop" dances and of course B2K. It will bring more exposure to the B-boy/dance scene which could be both good and bad. Music videos have been doing their share for awhile anyway. I'll probably check out the bootleg version...haha!

Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo was the greatest name ever for a movie sequel. Didn't break dancing die out in the late 80s?

:D You pulled that one way out.

I don't know which movie looks worse, "You Got Served" or "Torque." But, I'm leaning a little towards "You Got Served."

That's what people think. It was just so blown out of proportion by the media back then and you know how the media works. It's all about "fads". However, for years now they've been putting it in music videos, commericials, etc...Hell I've been doing shows here in Houston and around the US for some time. They have "breakdancers" at the Rockets games dancing during breaks and timeouts. Not calling you out or anything but when people say "didn't it die in the 80's" that just shows ignorance (lack of knowledge to the subject). It's a dance like every other dance. Hip hop has it's own culture with the elements always living.

Just like skating(board) "died" and things of that nature, a lot of the underground culture types "die" after they leave the mainstream. Again Sam, I'm not calling you out, just trying to enlighten. I could write a whole paper on the culture with a timeline and all, but I won't. :D

Did that way back whenever I was in HS and another one in college. Come to think of it, I had one written for a website as well...haha! 3 times is enough. I can keep people updated with the underground scene though.
