Its a new commerial.. one of those Mac vs PC commercials with the two guys. Pretty funny.

Easily the best one so far.

 

I really, really hate these ads. The unspoken message is that, if you use a PC, you're a fat, middle-aged, balding geek with no self eteem, but if you use a Mac, you're a young, hip, confident go-getter. Well, screw you, Steve Jobs. Way to insult the very customer base you're trying to win over. No wonder you have such a small percentage of market share and nobody wants to code software for your crappy platform. Get bent.

I think its rather pathetic how Mac already has to have a commercial bashing Vista. Why don't you let your product speak for itself instead of insulting people that use Windows?

The User Account Control freaking sucks. I definitely feel sorry for anyone who has to do end user support. Yea you can turn it off, but it is already annoying after having used it for less than a week.

I hate Macs, but that commercial is hilarious. Macs are ridiculously hard to navagate since the user inferface (I think thats what you call it but I'm not sure) totally sucks. I hate computers anyway but jeez at least Microsoft makes it easier for you.

 

That's interesting. That might be the first time I've ever heard that. I think Win gives you more software options and is certainly cheaper, but one of the big reasons people use Macs is because of how easy they are to use.

To each his/her own I guess.

Personally, I see a place for both and I do find the ads funny.

 

I just think PC's are easier because I'm not very visual so when I'm looking for Word I'm looking for the title and not the little symbol. But if I was more creative I'd probably like them more.

 

If I was in graphics design and such as a career... I'd stick to a Mac. That's what I was trained on back in '93.

But I like to find software at every store should I need it.

So... whatever.

The commercials are kinda funny, but the joke is really on Apple... if they were superior in all aspects, then the hackers/virus creators would find a way to take them out... point being, the Apple is no threat to the finances and commerce of the world, therefore no one is wasting time destroying them.

So... whatever.

It is slightly offensive (the image used for the PC) now that I think about it.
